10pm and have just finished all my chores. Actually, that's a lie - I've finished all my urgent chores but I did a to-do list today and it was depressingly long.
vjay Yay for snow day
Hope you are not snowed in for the long term though. Sounds like you all had a lot of fun playing in it at the weekend
I have recorded miranda tonight because I want to see what all the fuss is about
mls am keeping my fingers crossed that the osteopath can work some more magic on DD2. Will try and find the floradix - thanks for the tip. I think the migraine was probably caused by stress (all the stuff going on with DS1 and the lack of therapy).
4ever you sound so happy despite the lack of sleep - lovely to think of S helping your mum so much. Hope you have a lovely trip to see Santa. We have a nursery outing on Sunday to see Santa - we live very close to a miniature railway and every year they turn one of the stations into santas grotto - you get the train there. It could be bit cold on the train this year though!
barbie blimey - now I understand what your FB comment was about. Poor you and poor Dolly. Hope she is feeling better and doesn't catch the bug off your friend's baby. mls is right, febrile convulsions are very scary but rarely cause any long-term problems. Just try and keep her temp down as much as you can.
neeko hope your DDs behave themselves over the next few days. Have you escaped the snow then???
sabs another one????? Did I miss something?? Well done you on the weight loss, 11 lbs in 5 weeks is very good going. DS2 is also really fussy about the temperature of his milk and likes it very warm. (He tells me in no uncertain terms if it isn't warm enough
) They still have their milk in <a class="break-all" href="http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=babycup.org/_members/babycup/babycup3.jpg&imgrefurl=babycup.org/&usg=__V5GVZT8fe9yjiq_A8VxGnUzk6kw=&h=300&w=300&sz=7&hl=en&start=92&zoom=1&tbnid=aY5cJK86CEyT3M:&tbnh=150&tbnw=146&prev=/images%3Fq%3Davent%2Bbeaker%26um%3D1%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DN%26rlz%3D1T4SUNC_enGB384GB385%26biw%3D1291%26bih%3D473%26tbs%3Disch:10%2C2507&um=1&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=1040&vpy=191&dur=140&hovh=225&hovw=225&tx=126&ty=183&ei=3iv0TPShKsKd4Qb9tsiNAg&oei=xSv0TICxO426hAfokImwCg&esq=7&page=8&ndsp=12&ved=1t:429,r:11,s:92&biw=1291&bih=473" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">avent magic beakers which have spouts. We put them in the microwave and they seem ok. I wouldn't worry too much about the bottle thing tbh - I know they say you shouldn't use them after 1 yr but as long as you use a cup during the day, I can't see the problem. Can't help on the crying I'm afraid - one of the advantages of having twins is they always had to wait and learnt very quickly that crying wasn't necessarily going to get them what they wanted.
LBM I agree with vjay your life sounds manic at the moment. Hope it calms down soon - although loving that you are now wearing cocktail dresses
. Very good news that babyJ no longer has an exploding bottom
I think you can't puree potato - it does turn to glue, just have to mash it really well.
Big hello to lurking gracie - given how much sleep you are getting, I'm impressed you can lurk, let alone post. Sounds like you and barbie need to bang a couple of heads together (gently of course
) We have the same song for teeth brushing.
blue thanks for ebay tips - I obviously have to hoard more bags I think. Mind you, the amount I order from next, it shouldn't be difficult
How did you cope this morning? Was the nursery open?
buddha sounds as though E had a lovely birthday
Have you recovered from the party yet?
mermaid hope you are not snowed in too. My PILs and SIL are (in mid-cornwall). Very unusual for them to be snowed in! THanks for the tip for the 4head - went out and bought some. Unfortunately, it didn't work either, just had to ride it out.
cupcake thinking of the babysitting problem again - have you got any antenatal friends who you could take babysitting turns with??? Wouldn't cost you anything that way. I'm also jealous of everyone going to see HP - DH hates the cinema so we haven't been for ages and TBH nowadays I would rather spend a night out with him talking instead of watching a film. Hope you get the sleeping sorted soon.
BQ hello my fellow weeble. Deep breaths, you are nearly there. Feeling tired is good, feeling sick is good. I also have days when symptoms seem to be less, and then the next day they are back with a vengeance. They will ease up at 12wks ish (at least they did when I was pg with DTs).
mrskate hope you are ok x
mls scan is on Friday afternoon - just trying to hang on til then. I sort of think that if that scan is ok, then we might actually get a baby. This week is difficult as in the back of my mind, I know this is where it went wrong last time (although I didn't find out until 12 weeks). It doesn't help that DH is away until Friday. Have just seen the weather forecast and am now slightly worried about the fact we are likely to get snow overnight. Its almost easier if we have loads because then I won't attempt to move but the likely situation is that we will just get enough to cause chaos and roads will be a mess (let alone the tube).
Right, this has taken me an hour (eek!!) must go and get some sleep.
