hi
i had my first appointment at the fertility clinic yeasterday,it was confirmed that i had pcos witch i knew anyway but the doctor was not very nice!!.didn't explane anything to me didn't ask if i had any quation's and just realy blunt. iam about 2 stone over weight but was told that they will not give me clomid ect untill i lost 1 1/2 stone
so i went to the doc's last night to talk about my weight and he turned around and said "thats a bit harsh considering you put weight on with pcos" and i told him that the doc said that that was a myth.
now iam so confussed.com i have started today to lose weight cause my next appointment is in jan and would love to be down for then.

guess what iam trying to find out is do you put weight on and is it harder to take off

Yes, you may put weight on more easily with PCOS, and find it harder to lose. I think it's something to do with insulin resistance. You need to focus on a low-GI diet. You may find verity a very helpful resource. Good luck :)
