This is my first bus and I think I am being brave in starting the engine.

thanks ddas I think because everything was so straightforward when I had DD that I kind of assumed it would be the same, and it was fine to tell people Ah well.

Thanks re. your kind words. I wish the GP had reassured me with saying kind things like that. In fact he didn't say anything kind, was just very "factual" about the whole thing, which kind of made it worse.

If he'd said "it's very common, it wasn't your fault, you will get pregnant again, you will be ok", I think I'd have felt better.

Instead he just said "there's nothing we can do, just let nature take its course, if you start to feel ill or the pain gets worse go to A&E" That was it

I guess none of us go in to this thinking about MC. That's the problem with most GP's, they deal in facts and not feelings.

I'm TTC#1 and we haven't told anyone. It's driving me crazy because I want to talk about it all the time!

Morning ladies! I have every confidence this month will be our month!! Getdown I know what you mean about the GP's attitude. I guess because it's so common and they see it all the time it becomes more mundane for them, whereas for us it is earth-shattering. When I was sent for my second scan to confirm the MC at the EPU there was an 18 month old in the waitng room who took a shine to me and kept trying to get me to play with her. She was adorable but that just meant I was in total floods of tears by the time I was called in by the midwife. when I tried to explain through my sobs that what had set me off was the baby in the waiting room her response was: "Well this is a maternity unit. There will be babies around." Unsurprisingly, that didn't really help me much...

Still onwards and upwards. I'm trying to keep a positive outlook here. I fell first month of trying in August so had sort of assumed that I would fall again as quickly after the MC. AF arriving yesterday has really put me back to square one and I keep getting very teary again, but my DH has declared that we're going on a 'date' tonight, so I'm looking forward to that :O

Positive thought for the day is that it's now CD2 of cycle 2, so that means I'm one day closer to AF b**ring off and one day closer to SWI again :o

Am definitely on the August bus as AF has arrived this morning. Although I knew was being irrational, I have been spotting phantom pg symptoms due to AF being 1 whole day late (had actually convinced myself was feeling sick with a metallic taste in mouth) despite the rational part of me knowing that we missed the right time for SWI last month and that 1 day doesn't really mean anything. Must go get more wee sticks.

Anyway, enough of the wingeing detail. Big glass of wine for me tonight and think will have my steak very rare . And still have spooks to watch on iplayer from Monday...

And should have said - wombat sorry to hear about your MC - it was definitely a bit tactless to say the least of the midwife. And like the idea of a date - been so long since have been on one (have been with dh for 14 yrs) have difficulty remembering what you do apart from bar/film/dinner? Guess you will be going for more than first base though

Hi all, joining you from the July bus. Thought is was my month, but not to be. Thought had a 35 day cycle as that was my first cycle post pill, but this one has been 29 days, so not got as long to wait to start this time :)

Was hoping was implantation bleed, but still convinced is AF. May still test Monday though.

Not sure if you're interested in doing it, but on July bus, we but out AF due dates on, with the closest coming up at the top so we all knew who was coming up to test.

Just an idea, if you all want to do that :)

Hi ladies! Nervous passenger here. Long time lurker cheering on those with same dates as me. Now need to jump on the bus for support as have lost my 2 pregnancies in the past year.

Am (as from today) on 3rd cycle since 2nd mmc so here's to 3rd time lucky!!

I'll jump on too! I'm now realising just how lucky I have been in the past. I've been pregnant 3 times, the first ended in an early mc - so the first weeks are always hard for me.... but pg 2 and 3 gave me two gorgeous DS's

All three pg happened at the first cycle after coming off the pill but this time I'm now on cycle 3 so it's a different experience already. Just hoping there's nothing wrong with me after having a cs with DS2, (scar tissue etc). Probably just the fact that I'm getting older, although I'm still only 29.

Like koul111's idea of putting our estimated AF date and arranging the stats that way as CD changes. Had what I think was ovulation pain and EWCM yest so time for lots of SWI lol. Impossible to do it every 24hrs so fingers crossed every 48 with preseed is enough for a BFP this month lol!

Not convinced about an August baby for us though, but there is a tiny outside chance. I am going to be away on business from CD12 and not back until CD16, right over the SWI period! How badly timed is that!! Going to DTD up until I go and hope for some super strong swimmers to hang about in there the whole time and also hope for a late ovulation this cycle.

Hello - can I join? I fell off the July bus yesterday.

I'm currently ttc #3 after a mc at 16 weeks in July, so another nervous passenger here. I'm sorry to see so many of us here have been through it, let's hope for some sticky BFPs heading our way soon!

Nice to be around people who know this TTC business is exciting but also scary. In an ideal world I would have some time out before trying again but I turned 40 (and got married)within weeks of our second loss. Emotions all over the place!!

Looking forward to SWI in around 10 days, and seeing the first BFP's pop up on our bus :)

My months supply of pre-seed has arrived! Thank you Mr Postman, and also for bringing my truckload of pee sticks that I ordered from eBay. Have everything I need for this cycle now - except DH around at the right time! Boo hoo.

Can I get aboard this bus please? I've just leapt rather gleefully off the July bus after a completely confusing "month". Spending 4 weeks on the 2ww is a recipe for madness! Still, AF is here now and I can climb aboard a shiny new bus.
