I know. It's just so hard to be rational. We've already got 3 little people to feed. Another mouth is not what we need right now.

buttonmoon78 · 21/11/2010 22:58

Just did due date calculator - due on DH's birthday!

BabsH · 22/11/2010 06:51

Ah crap, AF got me! So much for symptom spotting!!!

Congrats Button, another mouth to feed or not, you will all be fine and things do generally work out, sometimes not the way you think, but if they did life wouldnt be exciting!!

Sorry about your dog Queenrollo, there's not much that I can say, our dogs are our family at the moment, am always so upset when they die :(

Am off to join the September bus, hopefully not see too many of you there!!!

Congrats button and good luck in Sep BabsH, was good to travel with you.

queenofthecapitalwasteland · 22/11/2010 09:10

Thanks everyone for the positive vibes, I've not had chance to read the newest posts so I'm sorry if I'm missing any big news.

Still no sign of AF and Clearblue has twice said -ve this weekend. Should I make a docs appointment? I'm slightly concerned that AF is now almost a week late with no pg Confused

Gobolino · 22/11/2010 09:21

Wow, bus has been busy.
Congratulations button it might not seem like the best time now but sure you will make it work.
Best of luck on September bus BabsH, I expect I'll see you there!
So sorry Queenrollo, hope today isn't too difficult.
Good luck this week everyone.

Gobolino · 22/11/2010 09:23

QOTCW a week seems quite late to me - are you usually pretty regular? I'm too new to TTC to know how this works, but is it possible a BFP is just not showing up on tests yet?

Teds77 · 22/11/2010 09:53

queenrollo so sorry, sending lots of ((hugs)) for today.

button that's fabulous news! These things happen for a reason...

Babs good lukc on the next bus.

QOTCW not sure what to suggest. Fear that the doc might not be that worried at this stage. Did you chart/opk this month - i.e. do you know when you ov'd?

queenofthecapitalwasteland · 22/11/2010 09:55

I?m not sure what it is Confused. When I first came off the pill I was very changeable but it then settled down to 27 days every cycle. I had been under a lot of stress this last month, earlier this month I noticed a small bald patch near the front of my head (50p size) which I put down to stress. I?m hoping a doc can give at least give me a definite ?ve and hopefully let me know why. Sad

queenofthecapitalwasteland · 22/11/2010 09:58

sorry teds i don't normally chart temps but I do have an app where I record AF, SWI, etc and it predicts OV and next AF so far it's been spot on. It had me down as OV 02/11 and AF to start 16/11.

Teds77 · 22/11/2010 10:05

I wonder whether the stress might have caused you to ov a bit late this month? The hair loss suggests you might have been really quite stressed this month. I think that and the lateness might be worth speaking to the doc about? Sorry not to be more helpful Sad

100years · 22/11/2010 11:28

Queenrollo, sorry to hear about your dog :(

Buttonmoon - congrats :) Things work out right in the end, please stop kakking yourself.

Babs, sorry you got AF :(

QOTCW how do you feel? Do you feel any symptoms of anything, AF or pg? What app do you use?

How is everyone else doing? So far today I'm less symptomy! Not sure if I am pleased of not that I am less symptomy, and yes I am aware that I have used that word twice for something and it isn't even a word!!!

OP posts:
queenofthecapitalwasteland · 22/11/2010 12:10

Hi 100years the app I use is called 'My Days' it's pretty basic but it seems pretty accurate based on your previous enties. I have had some 'symptomy' feelings, I've felt a bit ill and slightly sore boobs, but I don't feel pregnant in my head IYSWIM I've also had some cramp type feelings which could be AF or PG Sad.

100years · 22/11/2010 12:21

I shall have a look at that app. I've stopped temping as it was unreliable for me given shift work and stuff, so I'm just going on CM and previous cycles, which have been quite irregular, so I'm all over the place. I hope you do get a BFP soon and AF doesn't get you. Fingers crossed.

OP posts:
GetDownYouWillFall · 22/11/2010 12:28

Just adding my congrats to buttonmoon - hope everything works out ok for you and your family.

Queenrollo - so sorry about your dog. We have a much loved dog who is in her senior years too. She is a lovely member of the family and I totally understand how devastating it must be to lose your faithful friend Sad Take care of yourself.

QOTCW it does sound like your stress may have contributed to a long cycle this month. Hope you get an answer soon, one way or another.

I'm 4DPO now (according to FF). I did think I should be 5DPO, but had a weird dip in temp again after the first rise, so now I'm just not sure. Also because this is post-MC cycle, I'm a bit anxious what my Luteal Phase will be like. Sad to think that I may have conceived but the little thing might not get a chance to stick on Sad

I stupidly started googling progesterone cream yesterday in the hope that if I give myself a little "kick" of progesterone it may extend my LP? Or is that plain madness?

mslk · 22/11/2010 12:48

Queenrollo ? Sorry about your dog for today.

Sorry AF got you Level and BabsH

Button ? congrats ? I?m sure it will all work out for you

QOTCW ? not had any experience to know what?s best but if you?re concerned I?d say see the doc.

Getdown ? don?t know what to say with regards to your question ? it?s all too new for me but I?m keeping my fingers crossed for you and everyone else here.

Afternoon to the rest of the bus. Can someone give me a slap, I appear to have fallen into the symptom spotting trap and am doing my own head in!! lol Confused

GetDownYouWillFall · 22/11/2010 12:51

thanks mslk I just don't know what to do Confused

How many DPO are you? I am only 4, but keep feeling nauseous, I know it can't be a symptom yet as WAaaaay too early! But frustrating!

When I've been pregnant before I've had symptoms from 7DPO, but you could easily miss them.

100years · 22/11/2010 13:00

mslk, me too re the symptom spotting, so no slap from me!!!

OP posts:
valbona · 22/11/2010 13:51

AF nabbed me on Sunday, ladies - so much for all my must-be pregnant symptoms ... thanks for the company and hope to see as few of you as possible on the next bus!

mslk · 22/11/2010 14:11

Hi Getdown

Not charting or anything so guessing I?m 7-9 DPO. Just feel generally weird/funny. Feel nauseous at times and have had gurgles and slight, what feels like, mild AF type pains too. All come and go but could just as easily be to do with having a cold and there having been a sickness bug hitting some peeps at work. I?m sure it?s my over active imagination rather than anything else but it has freaked me out a bit to think maybe I could be!!!! Anyway, fully prepared to give myself a good dressing down if it all turns out it?s just in my head.

100years - Hope we?re not both going round the bend!! Lol

{Crosses even more things for everyone on the bus}

Just writing this and saw your post Valbona ? Sorry AF got you

Teds77 · 22/11/2010 14:14

GetDown not sure what is for the best though maybe googling and administering progesterone might be heading towards madness?! Grin Is it something you have taken before?

My SIL has been in labour for hours and I'm finding the last few days of this 2WW are driving me a little insane too, if that's any comfort!

valbona sorry to see you're heading off. Starting to feel a bit lonesome and panicked at the front of the bus... Confused

buttonmoon78 · 22/11/2010 14:41

Thanks guys - nice to have some good vibes. It's all a bit negative here at the mo!

ravenlocks · 22/11/2010 17:22

getdown not sure about post MC cycles, but can't see why your LP should be shortened, I would bet it would be the same.

Teds77 I am up in the front seat with you, also feeling the pressure. What are your plans, are you going to test on Weds with FMU, or wait it out? Not been actively SS but can't help but notice the odd twinge and increase in CM amongst other things. I sometimes wonder if all my BFNs have actually been CPs, especially once or twice when I have really felt pg. I don't really test, I just wait for AF, so will never know.

Hi all and congrats to button on your bfp.

No laptop and can't seem to fathom copy paste on phone so could someone add 4 days to my af date ad my cbfm didn't start peaks till cd 17 so I know it will be late - don't want to be encouraged into silly too early tests - help me stay strong until December! No hpt until advent calendar time at earliest is my rule.
Rubbish cm this month despite epo and lots of grapefruit juice. Did ok on swi though :) in a hotel too very romantic!

Sorry to see some people leave the bus. Hope you are enjoying nabbing the first class seats on the next one!
