This is my first bus and I think I am being brave in starting the engine.

Had a look at your chart getdown you are right, it is confusing. To me that looks like Ov happened on Thurs and you have had an outlying temp today, I would hope/ expect, that tomorrows temp is higher than Friday's.

I am ok, into 2nd week of 2WW but not holding out much hipe this cycle. I have totally given up on SS as I have had them all in the past with BFNs. I think I am 8DPO but can't be sure as not temping. Feel a bit sick (likely to be last nights' wine and being starving this morning before bfast) and have had AF type cramping on and off all week. What did I say about not SS?

Oh ravenlocks don't despair I know how disappointing it is to think you have symptoms and then get the BPN. I think it's a good idea to not SS and then risk having your hopes dashed.

However, when I've been pregnant before I definitely had a heavy, crampy feeling like pre-AF in the 2nd week of the 2ww. Also the raging hunger was definitely a feature for me.

Don't want to get your hopes up, but also don't want you to think there is no chance either. There is a chance, but as you say, try not to SS. Are you going to test the day AF is due, or wait it out?

Thanks re. your thoughts on my strange cycle. It's a post-MC cycle so I know anything could happen. It's frustrating that I had all the signs of ov, but still not a definitive answer on the temps. FF says that you can have all the signs of ov. but only a sustained temp shift confirms it happened. Arrgh! Will definitely let you know what temps do tomorrow! Hopefully they will be up!

I fear I am going to be the queen of symptom spotting, even if it gets my hopes up. Weird goings on in my stomach, feeling a bit ick in my stomach and a few mild aches in my (hopeful) future baby home!!!

Must stop this.

getdown I'm on CD15 which to be honest is probably a bit early for an egg for me anyway. I'm just being impatient!!!

I know what you mean about the mild aches - I'm feeling them myself. I wonder if we can cause these psychologically as there's no way if could be symptoms this early, is there? how many DPO are you?

MrsP81 you've got lots of time for that egg to arrive yet, I don't tend to ov. very early in cycle either. Thanks re. my temps. Am really hoping they are up tomorrow.

I've booked an appointment with my GP next week. I know this sounds like a strange question, but do I need to ask for DH to come with me, or is he OK to just join in my appointment?

Thanks for that getdown and babsH - i have a really accurate ear one.. and it has covers you put over.. so maybe i could start taking temp next month. So .. (more questions..!) does your temp go up 2 days after OV? Have i got that right? I am having trouble keeping up!

silly I think it is the day after Ov that temp jumps and then stays up for the most of the rest of LP. I find mine starts to drop 2 days before AF.

I'm trying not to SS but that's largely because I clearly don't have any. Feeling a bit tonight. Sigh.

Okay so question for you guys, had a little blood tonight, so given that I have had cramps a few days ago and my boobs are feeling a little heavy how positive does it all sound? I reckon that I have another week till AF is due but I am trying really really hard not to get too excited about things incase that I'm not going to be lucky this month.

Sorry for everyone who is having to get off this bus and join next month's I might be joining you guys soon, but hopefully not!!!

Babs, it's only my first month at this TTC thing, so I'm not really much help with that. Sorry.

I'm ticking off the symptoms one by one, rolls eyes I figure I will allow myself a few months of symptom spotting before I drive myself crazy then I will ignore it, as I don't so far feel all that different to last month, except a little bit worse than I was then. But I could just be more aware of things now, because I'm looking for them!!!

evening girls. I'm puffy eyed and blotchy here after an evening of tears. My old dog passed away this afternoon (it stayed with ex when we split)......losing two canine companions so close together is so hard. Just starting to get over the rawness of losing my girl-dog and now this He was my faithful friend for nearly ten years and i still saw him twice a week.......going to feel odd not to be greeted by him when i go there tomorrow.

In TTC news I am producing lots of CM.......still not EW but for the first time since i came off the pill there was erm.....(tmi) rather a lot of it when i wiped earlier. Think i'm definitely in a fertile window now.
Going to head up to bed I think and read my book as DP has disappeared into the world of Xbox

MIL and FIL lost 2 within 3 months, 1st one ran away and 2nd one died of cancer. They were both 12. We all think the 1st one was picked up by the traveller community as was a little terrier, or she ran away because she knew the other one (Springer) was going to die.

They are such a huge part of your lives, like children in some respects. Hope it's not too hard tomorrow x
