Hello everyone,

I'm still here and reading your posts. Wink

I think I maybe a little confused about dates here, and so am split btw 2 buses. I've done due date calendars across Google, but they seem to vary a lot. I'm due to ovulate 1st Dec, so not sure if I'm Aug or Sept. Confused Please let me know what you think.

P.S. Slowly getting into the lingo.

Fast approaching the front also, Good luck to my neighbours!!

Positive vibes to all x

kat2504 · 22/11/2010 18:52

Thanks rugbywidow
by my calculation you should be at the end of this month, aiming for a bank holiday baby! Why not travel on both buses, you never know it might double your odds of a bfp!

KLou111 · 22/11/2010 18:56

Hi Rugbywidow welcome back :)
I'd say if you are due to OV 1st Dec you're borderline really, cos if you fall, you may be early or late giving birth lol!!!

Well, I am trying not to symptom spot think about it all at the moment, as this 2ww seems to be dragging a lot!

Having CM, cramp, sharp pains in belly, need to wee a lot (already???) and lots of wind :) and only 8DPO.

Due to test next Tuesday yikes! We're off back to the Midlands Tuesday to swap pressies and see everyone before Xmas (we live in Wales and having it on our own this year as may be our last hopefully :)) Not sure what to do if it's + regarding telling parents as next time back will be NYE. What a Xmas pres if it is +!!

God I'm getting my hopes up again, stop thinking about it Klou!!

RugbyWidow7 · 22/11/2010 19:40

Thanks Klou, that's really helpful. As suspected then.

Fingers vv tightly crossed for you. Keep us posted.

I completely understand where you're coming from, as since we made the decision to TTC I've been hammering Google for as much info as poss - DH is trying to encourage me to stop thinking about it so much. BUT it's so interesting and exciting.

MUST stop thinking about it so much!!

We're off on a romantic night away this Thurs and can't wait. How long can sperm live inside for - think I maybe being a bit ambitious!

sillybillymummy · 22/11/2010 20:44

Hello Rugbywidow well i hard it was 6 days... BUT my friend said the other day - 'Nah, thats a bit optimistic, its 2 days'
so not sure

sillybillymummy · 22/11/2010 20:54

I HATE HATE HATE the 2 ww - atleast last month i know we didn't get a chance to SWI, so was almost certain that AF would turn up. But i have started symptom spotting, and already wondering if its too early to test, i reckon (going by my DH saying i was REALLY hot last monday) that i OV'd last sunday, so i am 8dpo (going on that sillybilly theory) So... when is the earliest i can test?

I think i ask this every bus! sorry ladies!!

GetDownYouWillFall · 22/11/2010 20:58

ravenlocks "pins and needles toes early pregnancy symptom" Grin You mad woman! Grin Good luck to you and to Teds - testing soon! How exciting!

RugbyWidow7 I can testify that sperm CAN live 6 days inside.... DD was conceived from BD that happened 6 days before ov. I didn't even do a test till 19DPO as I was really cross that we missed the "window" that month and didn't believe I could possible be preg... but there you go! I thought the GP would be well impressed when I told him.... he wasn't. Hmm

sillybillymummy · 22/11/2010 21:05

Thats really funny getdown - your DH must have super sperm!!!

RugbyWidow7 · 22/11/2010 21:09

That's amazing thanks for the info GetDown and what a lovely story. Maybe the Dr's reaction was a sign that it's pretty common for a BFP to happen outside the expected window.

I'm much more hopeful about this week's SWI now Wink.

GetDownYouWillFall · 22/11/2010 21:10

Grin thanks silly (feel bad calling you silly, I'm sure you're not really Grin)

The 2ww is hideous isn't it? I am only on 4DPO, and I'm bored of waiting already.

Don't know if it helps but I drew up a little list of early symptoms from when I've been pregnant before:

7DPO sharp cramping pains in one side of lower abdomen for a few hours and dull aching afterwards
11DPO Nausea
Dull aching pains on and off
Heavy full feeling in lower abdomen
Strange taste in mouth ? like after having brushed teeth
Excess saliva
Nausea on waking and going off coffee
Heightened sense of smell e.g. smelling onions
Extreme hunger and hunger pains by early evening
Disturbed sleep through hunger
Breast tenderness ? especially round the sides , hurts to run upstairs
Temperatures continue to rise ? feeling hot in bed
Tiredness e.g. falling asleep on sofa by 9pm
Slightly more dry creamy mucus?

GetDownYouWillFall · 22/11/2010 21:11

sorry x-posted with Rugby - fingers crossed for your early SWI Smile

sillybillymummy · 22/11/2010 21:15

Is it too early for symptom spotting 8dpo? I have cramps and restless legs .. but think i might have done in previous cycles. Trying not to get my hopes up

100years · 22/11/2010 21:16

Well we have had lots of SWI this month, and I have no actual idea of when ov really occured, I can only go on the EWCM and the raised temp a few days later, so I'm hoping ov was either sunday, monday or Tuesday last week. Who knows, giving it a few months before going for OPKs or anything like that.

Good luck everyone, sorry we've go someone else going on the September bus.

Is QOTCW around, how is she?

OP posts:
GetDownYouWillFall · 22/11/2010 21:17

I definitely had a kind of heavy, achey feeling at 8DPO, but I don't know how much of it was imagined, or not actually related to the pregnancy anyway?

I think it can be so different for everyone too.

Hoping for you!

sillybillymummy · 22/11/2010 21:36

100years i think if i'm not pregnant this month, i am going to have to start the faff... temps / opks, because i am determined that i don't want a baby around Xmas!!

People off to september bus: atleast your baby will be oldest in school year - thinking positively and all that!!

100years · 22/11/2010 21:40

I am a december babe, it's not so bad, so I wouldn't worry about having one around Christmas myself, but I know other people would.

sillybilly, we've certainly tried enough to get pg, but I know it's not that simple!

OP posts:
GetDownYouWillFall · 22/11/2010 21:47

I am trying to avoid a december babe too as literally ALL my family are december, including me. DH is Christmas-flippin-Eve.

DD's is the SAME-flippin-day as my mum, and DH's mum is the day after that. Angry

Not that I would mind really, and will certainly not stop TTC should we get to March, but.... oh! For a summer birthday!

100years · 22/11/2010 21:50

Maybe after the first one I will start to plan things differently, but I would just like one to happen first off.

OP posts:
RugbyWidow7 · 22/11/2010 22:01

I agree and have been doing the same, as I was concerned about an Aug baby being the youngest in school, but now I'm just getting on with it, esp as it's the first. Will perhaps plan more with the second once I know my body a little better.

queenofthecapitalwasteland · 23/11/2010 07:57

Well after a week of going very crazy slightly overboard with the SS and the -ve tests I'm giving up for a bit until I see my doc (next week) so I may turn up on the Sep bus.

Thanks for the concern all but I'm going to stop dwelling on it and adding to my stress and wait for some definite answers.

Congrats to all the graduates so far and best of luck to everyone else, might see some of you next time.

100years · 23/11/2010 12:25

My symptoms are disappearing, or rather they were less so yesterday, and again this morning but I am off my usual cereal unless I'm just bored of it! Boobs are still sore though. Hey ho, got a week of twiddling my thumbs, dum de dum.

QOTCW will still keep fingers crossed for you whichever bus you finally end up on.

OP posts:
sillybillymummy · 23/11/2010 15:49

100years same here, today they seem to be fading... I have had such cramps etc ... so i did a test this morn FAR TOO EARLY, -ve , serves me right!

QOTCW hope you get some answers soon
