Just away to launch myself into ttc and have a few wee questions in my mind if anyone can advise?

I had to have an emcs after failure to progress 13 months ago.

Is there definitive advice about how long to wait to ttc after a cs? ( I have googled and searched MN, but read about a million different things)

Would it be daft to make an appointment have a chat with a GP about it?

Have been taking folic acid/vits since august and felt all ready to go, just looking for some reassurance/experiences if possible.

Thanks in advance :)

I think they like you to wait at least six months, preferably a year but I can't remember where I read that! You'd be fine now, I know plenty of people with age gaps under two and they were CS's (including my brother and I!). I am also TTC (#3) after a ELCS 15 months ago, good luck.

I emailed my consultant about this very thing and he said a year was more than enough. I'm (very) pregnant again and am seeing him on Friday and my boy was 14 months when I conceived. Worry not!
