please help its to do with the clear blue fertility monitor

Hi, i'm new to all this, so i will introduce my self im michelle im from lincolnshire i have beautiful little boy called harry he is 3 now, i have a partner been together 5 years. we have been trying for a baby for a year now but no look been to gynacology appointment had scans etc everything is fine, so i decided that this month i will buy the clear blue fertility monitor as i have read so many good reviews and success stories its not cheap but we are desperate for another so its a small price really, anyway i was wondering if anybody could help me i am going to use on the 1st day of my period but the thing is i work two nights a week, so i wanted to know how i would go about it really with using the first urine of each morning if one morning i am at work, will it still work the same? if any body could help i would be really gratefull, and i would love to hear from anybody who has used it and what are there thoughts and feelings on the cbfm, thanks michelle

Hi Michelle, sorry to hear you're having problems conceiving It's difficult isn't it... I have the CBFM, and it's great! I often don't use the first pee of the morning, as I normally drink loads before I go to bed, so I wait for the second or third pee (and don't drink anything in between). If you're working nights then you could always not drink anything for a few hours so it would be more concentrated? I'm sure that would work.
Have you seen that there's a thread for people who use the CBFM? It might be worth asking their advice, but I am always here if you have any more questions...

Think it says just to use wee from same time of day. Would that be practical? I can go and look at the instructions but I think clearblue website has a lot of info esp about this sort of question.

Highly recommend it worked first month for me, was still breastfeeding and wasnt sure if I was ovulating & when so was really helpful.

Access diagnostics sells the sticks quite cheaply, or used to! There are usually a few discount codes around.

I think there is a thread on this conception ?board? for CBFM users. I am sure someone on there has kneeded to know the same question.

Hi thankyou both for your comments I think that's what I am going to do not drink for a couple of hours and not pee until it's time to test lol, I think I'm just wittering as I really don't want to do anything wrong! Davidsmom you don't sound smug I like to hear about your sucess stories as it gives me more hope that it will work for me :), I am new to this but Im going to hunt out for the cbfm thread, thanks again to both of you for your reply x
