PCOS and TTC! Anyone want to join with me?

I ladies. I have DD1 (almost 3) and DH and I have begun talking about TTC #2. It took nearly 4 years to conceive DD1 and we finally had success with a course of clomid.

I am now in Canada and have just been referred to a new gynecologist who is apparently the leading expert in PCOS in Canada. So hopefully he will be able to help speed things along. I don't think I could take another 4 year wait.

Does anyone else want to join??

Happy New Year everyone

Welcome pink I've only recently been diagnosed and am now on second round of Clomid. I hadn't had a period for nine months so although disappointing not to be pregnant it was a very welcome AF!

I'm feeling v Xmas Angry today. We were out last night and near end of night the husband of newly preg friend decided to tell me how sorry they feel for us and how they feel awkward and it'll be our turn soon. I know he meant well & it was alcohol induced but I really wanted to scream at him. No-one in RL has any idea what we're going through. They think just because they've had to try for 4 months they know how it feels and if one more person says it'll be us next . . . . Aaaaaaaargh!!

Thank God I can vent on here.

pinkapples · 01/01/2011 16:18

hehe i know how you feel, i have run out of responses for, "awww, newly married, it will be babies next" if only they knew if wasnt that easy! Well i wont say it will be you next, but i wish you luck...

Not out yet Lucy

Welcome Pinkapples I totally understand how you feel. I wasn't diagnosed untill 3 years ago but had been complaining to GP with various symptoms since I was 16. I've done Clomid too but unsuccessful! Fingers crossed for you!

Boba know exactly how you feel! It makes you wanna smack that person - alcohol or not!!!! A friend of mine boasted it took her 9 days to get pg & currently a pg friend on fb is getting on my nerves with her constant updates that she'll be the next to be blocked!

lucysnowe · 02/01/2011 14:41

Welcome pink, it's really nice like boba says to find a place to vent when you can discuss things with people who have the same problems. I really hope the Clomid goes well for you two.

So got a BFP this morning Grin. A bit of bleeding yesterday but it's stopped now so fingers crossed it was implantation bleeding and everything will calm down now. Am a bit freaked by it being almost exactly a year since the last pg - but this time am taking metformin so I'm hoping that will help with beanstickiness. Smile Thanks for wishing me luck, ladies. Grin
