Hi there. I'm thinking of having a self funded IVF cycle at hommerton hospital and wondered if anyone has had treatment done there and what your experiences were. Any comments would be much appreciated as getting quite nervous about picking a clinic.

Hi. I haven't had IVF at Homerton but I'm currently undergoing fertility testing there. I've been happy with the service, the staff all seem lovely.

I hope it all goes well for you.

Have you had a look at their success rates? If you're paying for this yourself you may as well go to the place that gives you the best chance of a live birth per cycle.

I've just had the quickest look at their reported data and in most age groups they perform worse than the national average.

Here's the link to the HFEA success rates:

guide.hfea.gov.uk/guide/HeadlineData.aspx?Code=153&s=l&&nav=2&rate=i&rate_sub=FSO

Hope that helps.
