how long to leave beforee trying for 2nd?????

What do you guys think is a good age gap between siblings? my dd is 9months at mo! not sure whether to have another bundle sooner or later! whats your thoughts? xx

My dd is 8 months and I'm planning to TTC in December. They say if the gap is less than 2 years then sibling rivalry is less likely. But then if the gap is more then 3 its also less likely, lol! For me my age is also a factor in the decision though. And feeling very broody! I imagine having 2 young babies will be hard work

Dc 1 & 2 are 2.5 years apart. There was never any rivalry.

Dc 2 & 3 are 7 years apart. Likewise!

I was recently told by my friend that her midwife said wait a year as your body needs to recover even though you think it has.

thanks guys! just a uneasy about leaving too long as both me and my hubby have sisters and brothers with 4 yr age gaps, neither of us are that close!
