just had positive test but blood at same time!

Hi All,

talk about mixed feelings... took a test this morning and it came back positive! Then (sorry for the detail...) I wiped myself and it was bloody!

Have been checking myself every 5 minutes since then and haven't had any more blood.

Can anyone offer reassurance or has anyone had a similar experience?

Don't thing i could bear another disappointment (3mc's and an ectopic pg)

vfirstly congrats, and im sorry about your mc's and ep how many dpo are you? it could well be implantation. what has your cons said? i presume you will need an early scan.

Could it be suppressed period? (Maybe different name for it now). I had a show of blood for 2 months around the 'normal' time for my period, but much lighter and only for a couple of days.

This sounds very much like an implantation bleed - I've had four of them, and one was exactly like you have described, starting the morning I got my BFP. Hope there's no more blood, but even if there is, it doesn't have to be anything sinister - my bleed that time went on for five days, but very very lightly.

Thanks for your messages - great to get some support online. As you can imagine DH and I are a bit panicked at the moment!!

Have had no more blood today and yesterday it was just very faint pink which then turned faint brown.

I'm just off to the hospital for a blood test to check that I am definitely pg then take it from there.

Hoping beyond all hope that it is implantation bleeding and for once luck is with me.
