Hi there.

Personally Im not sure as I used depo before TTC. However, my friend was on the implant and conceived 3 weeks after having it taken out!

No such luck for me though!

Plus remember that the implant is just one of the factors.

Although I try to remember that and it doesn't stop me feeling less fertile because I didn't achieve that.

My sister was pg 6 weeks after having hers removed. I'm now on cycle 4 although my first 2 cycles were stupidly long. In context though I had 3 implants over 8 years and 12 months of Depo before that. I was told that the body returns to usual fertility within 24 hours of removal (so I'm just not 'usually' very fertile!)

2 months.

By that I mean I had one real period then I conceived. I think this was best because it reassured me that my body was back to normal. Remember though, statistically you only have a 20% chance of conceiving each month so even if you and your OH are very fertile you could still find that it takes a little while.

I had my implant out on March 9th 2009 and went into labour March 9th 2010 Smile
