A leaky boob......

DH and I are trying for the next sprog and I'm due to get my period on Monday but today I've developed a leaky boob, you know like you get towards the end of pregnancy (well, I did with DS). I've just done a test - as I'm very impatient - but it was negative. Just wondering if anyone else has had this and was it a sign of early pregnancy.

Also feeling very tired and a bit queasy - perhaps I'm having a phantom one

What are you leaking wellsie? Is it milky or a clear fluid?

If a milky fluid is being leked this may be prolactin.

I would get medical advice from your GP on this as excess prolactin levels can interfere with ovulation. It can be treated though with tablets.

Do you have any other symptoms? If it's slightly enlarged or tender it may be mastitis (not pleasant)

I'm a bit worried now that my leaky boob might have become a medical problem.

Just to be a bit gross, the fluid is just like milk, theres only a little bit of it and to be honest it only appears if I squeeze them - thank God none of you know me!

I was due on today but nothing as yet. I did another pregnancy test and that was negative. Not sure what is up with my body, it has a life of it's own.

Any advice or reassurance is welcome
