We are going to ttc soon, I have 1 day left of the microgynen pill. Is it okay to start to ttc asap or do I really have to wait for a real period?! Why do they suggest that anyway? I have tried to make an app with my gp to discuss this but I can't get in for over a week! Thanks ladies :)

The period you have on the pill isn't a true period, as you don't ovulate. They recommend you wait for a period so that you can work out your due date if you do become pregnant. It's not imperative, though.

Right okay so it's not cos of hormone imbalance or anything risky? I wasn't on the pill before my daughter was conceived so it's new to me this way!!
