I've been lurking for a while, but decided to post before I go mad!
So, we've been TTC for 2 cycles now. UCL is 35-38 days. I'm on day 41 now and no sign of AF at all. I've had no signs at all of anything, no pregnancy symptoms or indeed AF and instead just had lots of EWCM (is that the right acryonym??)
My cycle's normally regular-ish, so I don't know what's going.

Anyway, my question is do you think that sounds more like some kind of mad late ovulation?

DH is away all week and the easliest I can test is Saturday (he doesn't want to miss out!)I'm sure the only answer is to test, but it's driving me mad not knowing and not being able to spot any signs.

Any pearls of wisdom?

Hello Lady I quite often get another bout of EWCM right before AF. Hopefully it's not that though and you get your BFP. I would do a sneaky test if I was you. But just an internet cheapy and do a proper one with DP.

You're right - a sneaky test is the only way forward.
I won't mind if it's not a BFP (well, I say that now..), as we haven't been trying very long, so wasn't expecting anything so soon.

(DH thinks he has super sperm though, so will be confused about why it hasn't happened yet)

Ladyshapes - just to add some more confusion into the mix - apparently lots of CM can be a sign of pregnancy... good luck!

Well I thought so, but didn't think that was much to go on as I've no other typical symptoms.

Although I did convince myself that my crazy vivid dreams and need to pee were also signs, but I think I might be clutching at straws!

No, I've got my hopes up now! DH would be really upset if I tested before he got home. He really doesn't want to miss any potential excitement, so no sneaky testing! Just got to tough it out till Friday pm / Saturday am.

Oh, yeah, another question - Can you test in the afternoon or does it have to be the morning? And how much does it change the accuracy?

I would use first morning urine as the wee and pg hormone will be most concentrated. just because if it BFN and you didn't use FMU you won't believe it until you've tested with a sensitive test using FMU anyway.

If you really can't wait make sure you haevn't wee'd or drunk for 4 hours so the wee is good and dark and use that on Fri night. Good luck and let us know!

I caved and did a test this arvo. BFN. Feel quite resigned to it as I don't have any proper symptoms, so will just hope AF arrives and test again in a week if not. (Or as long as I can last) thanks for all the advice though!
