Confused by my body - some advice please!

Ok, af was due last Friday, did a test and it was negative. Not had any pms symptoms this month and have NEVER been late.

From all I have read if you're pregnant the pms symptoms are normally worse! I'm totally confused by my body.

Also, had a little bit of 'spotting' yesterday but that doesn't seem to have turned into anything.

How long should I wait before I test again?

Depends how much steely resolve you have! I have none, so I would be testing tomorrow and then every day until BFP or AF

Did you use your first wee of the morning? HCG levels (if present) would be a tiny bit stronger if so. Also different brands have different sensitivities, so you might get a better result with a different brand.

The test I used was a clear blue which said you could use it up to 6 days before af was due. I did the test 1 day early, and used my first wee of the day, but it was negative.

It was a twin pack of clear blue's that I used - do they generally have a good reputation? Am I still best to use the first wee of the day to test (so wait till tomorrow) or can I do it any time?

If you can hold on, probably best to do it with first wee of day tomorrow.

Are your boobs sore at all? Also does anything taste different e.g. tea?

I can hold on till the morning, the tests cost enough so don't want to waste it!!!

I thought I had a metallic tast in my mouth late last week, but not since. Had the odd abdominal twinge, but not like period pains for the last couple of days, but nothing too serious. Occasional odd headaches, and seem to have gone a bit spotty today! Other than that, nothing. I usually every month get really sore boobs for 7 days or so before af is due, but haven't had that this month at all - hence the confusion!
