If you mean best time of month, then mid-cycle ususally, around the time you ovulate. Most women who have a 28 day cycle ovulate between days 14 and 17 (day 1 is the 1st day of your period) but this can vary from woman to woman. Most advice states that you should just try to have sex every 2-3 days to make sure the sperm is 'fresh' and there's always a good supply hanging around for when you actually do ovulate.
If you have a good look on the list of threads on the Conception threads you'll get lots of info, but the first port of call is just to relax, have lots of sex and don't worry about it all too much. Most couples conceive within 6months of starting to try. Good luck x

well, if your cycle is 28 days then around day 14. its usually 14 days after the first day of your period .if your cycle is longer than 28 days then just adjust it accordingly.
there is a tool on storknet that tells you the best time for your cycle..you just type in the length of your cycle and date of last period and its says for eg days 14 to 17.worth a look.

It depends on how long your cycle is. Someone told me once that you ovulate 14 days before your period. So, if you have a regular 28 day cycle (like me) the best time to start trying is from day 12 of your cycle to maybe day 19 (day 1 being the first day of your period). When we were trying for DD we started on day 10 to be on the safe side
Ovulation is not necessarily in the middle of your cycle then if you have a long cycle ... if you have a 32 day cycle then you should ovulate on day 18. If you have irregular periods it makes it all so much more difficult to work out.

I remember it all making more sense when I was told that ovulation is 14 days before your next period, not 14 days after your last one.
That is why it is so difficult to tell when you ovulate unless you have very regular periods.

I understand this to mean best time of the year so I would say Sept./Oct. That way you don't have to go through a hot summer being pregnant & your baby will be born when there is the maximum amount of daylight, making you feel less tired & depressed.

oh, okay. best time of month.

well, go for it hammer & tongs during ovulation & if you don't know when that is, there are kits you can buy from the chemists that tell you.
