Having difficulties TTC#1

Well, there seems to be a lovely thread for those TTC#2, but nothing for us poor folk desperate for number 1..!

So here we go......

My brief history:
TTC#1 for 3 years 2months. One MC in March2010.
No help from docs until March 2011 because of said pregnancy :( no probable IVF referral for another 3 years due to said pregnancy :(

Now back on CD1 of a UCL of 28/29, with my eyes set on the goal!

'Ello my dear - as well as this, you are v. welcome on our little thread for those who are still trying for number one but have mc - it should be lurking somewhere on the front page of the conception section. :)

Also, massive grrr @ the evil NHS making you wait even longer, that is completely shit and unfair.

You might also feel at home on the BESH pirate ship, pretty much everyone there has been TTC since the Black Death/neanderthal man/etc and will completely sympathise.

Ifatfirsh - I would not accept what you have been told, as I know of at least one person who has miscarried and is under NHS fertility consultant and having IUI! Why not look at NICE guidelines and see what they say and perhaps contact your PCT for specific information.

Ifatfirst - sorry about your MC :(. I agree with the above, I know of people who have had MC and continued with fertility investigations and/or treatment on the NHS. I would push for more. Good luck.
