Negative Pregnancy Result Question?

I believe I am due my period this weekend (Sun 3rd Oct)..., however am a bit about the place as only had the merina coil removed on 9th September (only had it for a month). Myself and my partner have been having unprotected intercourse ever since (usually at weekends as he works away). I believe we had intercouse when I was ovulating, but not 100% sure due to my last period being a little early. Therefore, I did a test yesterday (4 days before my period is due, I believe) and it was come back negative. Can it show negative even though I maybe pregnant? I have no period symptoms, but my breasts are very heavy and full. Any ideas anyone??? :)

yes it can show negative even if you are especially if you have tested early as i have known women on here to still test negative a week after been late and gone on a few days later to test posative, it depends how high your hormone level is and the sensativity of the pregnancy test, i did get a posative this time 4 days before period was due but with my last couldnt get 1 till i was late. so i would leave it a couple of days and retest again. good luck :)

Ok, thanks Beckie...., I suppose it didn't help because I took the test in the late afternoon. I will leave it a few more days, or maybe a week to be extra sure and take it first thing in the morning to be sure. Thanx :)
