Hhhmmm am confused !!!

I have been using opk for a few months now and always pick up a positive around day 16, this months however was the first month i really noticed ewcm and this was earlier around cd10.

From reading ovulation signs if i werent using opk i would assume i ovulated around the ewcm time anyway have picked up positive on test 2day ( and as bad luck would have it dh is away!)

But what do you think??

do any of you just go with body changes to predict??

am wondering if ive been missing the special days relying on the sticks

I am sure someone with much more expertise and better advise will come along. However, the OPK just tells you the likely days you are going to conceive, in that they pick up the LH surge and ov is somewhere between 24-36hours later. Here's the thing, your change in cm allows for those little swimmers to make the journey and be there ready and waiting for the egg (there doesn't seem to be a medical consensus but I've read a lot of research to suggest that they live up to 7 days waiting for the egg). So, I would SWI at least every other day from the time you notice the change in your cm and for a day or two after you get the positive on the opk...hope that helps, as I say I am sure you'll get lots of good advice here :)

What CD you on now? (On the june bus it is CD40, but guess you are on a new cycle now!)

I think EWCM you get in the few days leading up to Ov and positive OPK 12-36 hours before I would pay attention to both. Start BD when you see EWCM and continue until 2 days after positive OPK to cover all bases.

This all coming from someone who doesn't get EWCM atall, however!
