Clomid help - old poster, new name!

I just want to stay a teeny bit anon so I have changed my name. I hope that's ok?

OK, chequered ttc history with infertility, m/cs, 2 miracle kids, many years of ttc etc.

I have taken clomid this month for the first time in a few years. I have gotten pg on it before (twice) but both ended in m.c.

I finished taking the tabs on tuesday last week. Am i right in thinking my fertile time should be from yesterday until the weekend?

My cycles are usually fairly regular but it looks like i don't always ovulate.

Wjat should i be doing to maximise the chances of clomid working?

I have tried to search the archives but I my eyes are crossing and i haven't got anywhere.

I have a feeling i am going to be obsessing ssoon but i am going to try not to.

Hi, The fertile time after taking clomid is usually 7-10 days after taaking the last tablet.

Do you use the fertilityfriend website?
Do you use OPKs? (You can get cheap internet ones)

Is the clomid prescribed? Which day of your cycle did you start taking it?

I have a similar history to you, and now have 2 clomid dds :) I used fertility friend and OPKs and got a bit obsessed, but def worth the effort :)

Can only echo what whatdoesnt has said. Would def get opk sticks, take temps and use preseed as clomid can dry you up. I took a multi vit and vit b complex whilst on it too. Good luck!

Yes, it was prescribed but in a set of 3. I used the first one and fell pg then m/c and never used the otehr 2. We have decided this is the last throw of the dice.
I haven't been using opks because i thought they didnt work with clomid. I will get shopping!
When/how do you use preseed and where do i get it from?

Preseed is just a sperm friendly lube. You can get it in ready to go syringes which you pop inside you about 10 15 mins before dtd. Terribly romantic Otherwise you can just get the tube and do it yourself. Its on amazon, just type it in. Sorry would link but on phone. If i get to a pc I'll come back. Apparently OPKs aren't as reliable if you have PCOS, but saying that, I have PCOS, used Clomid, and found OPKs to be pretty reliable!

I'm sorry about the mc, I know how tough that can be. I can understand you saying this is the "last throw of the dice" but I wonder if it might be worth giving it a few goes as sometimes it takes a few months for your body to get into sync, iykwim. DD1 was conceived on 1st round of clomid. DC2 after a whole year!!! (then mc). DD2 after 3 cycles of clomid, though I knew that time that the first 2 cycles just didn't "feel right".

Anyway, I found using the fertility friend website really helpful as it helped me understand my body better. It does involve temping, but tbh that helped me feel I was being proactive.
