Ding Ding... the bus is ready to depart :)

Hi cep and welcome aboard. Ask if there are any specific bits of posts you don't understand - I'm just getting to grips with all these acronyms myself!

Thanks GetDown, does the extra .01 make such a difference then? I just bought the cheapest BBT thermometer on ebay! I think I'm going to have to be more specific about what time I take my temp - is it exactly the same time every day? What if you wake up early?? or late?
The july chart is definitely me, and I remember having other ov symptoms that month, after june being a mega stressful month work wise with a 36 day cycle to boot.

LadyGoneGaga · 11/10/2010 22:01

Esk I reckon you've not ovved yet. Are you getting any EWCM?

Hi cep welcome to board. Hope you work out what bleed is. UCL= Usual cycle length; AF is period; FF is Fetrility Friend, a charting website. Sorry, is like another language!

Eskarina · 11/10/2010 22:06

LadyGG no, no EWCM or any real CM of any kind. I thought I had side pains a few days ago, but that came to nothing.
queenrollo sorry to hear about your friend too Sad

Eskarina · 11/10/2010 22:15

Well that was an expensive trip to ebay. A new BBT thermometer reading to 2 decimal places, and a pack of OPK's are on their way to help with the madness.

Night all

queenrollo · 12/10/2010 09:20

morning all.

negative test here. Breast tenderness has gone now too. So it would seem this herbal stuff is working it's magicSmile Herbalist has said my monthly migraines should disappear when my cycle settles down, and i'll be very glad if that is the case!

GetDownYouWillFall · 12/10/2010 09:28

Sorry to hear about your friend queenrollo Sad

eskarina I find the 2 decimal place ones much better ? I find personally there is quite a bit of difference between say, 36.61 and 36.69 (maybe I am just really sad tho and been charting too long Blush !!) Your one decimal place thermometer would obviously just give you 36.6.

Hope your ebay stuff arrives soon. I bought a pack of clearblue OPKs this month for the first time but had to get them in Boots because I didn?t want to get them online and have to wait for them to arrive! £21 for 7 Shock. As it happened I had missed ov. anyway. Oh well, I only used 2, so still have 5 for next month.

I am getting really impatient ladies ? 6 DPO. When do you think you would feel implantation, if it is going to happen? Do you always feel it do you think?

When I got pregnant with DD I felt very strong stabbing pains in the night some days after ov. So much so I had to get up and take paracetamol. Looking back it was definitely implantation pains( though there was no blood), but I can?t remember how many DPO I was!

Haven?t had any such pains and don?t really have any symptoms at all (except I keep imagining symptoms) I know it is too early though?..

LadyGoneGaga · 12/10/2010 10:39

I found this site quite interesting to go through the early stages. Don't think they implant until 6 or 7dpo at earliest as have to "hatch" first. I don't think I really felt anything until more like the time I was due when I felt quite crampy.

GetDownYouWillFall · 12/10/2010 12:50

thanks for the link to that site LadyGoneGaga - very interesting indeed.

Wombat33 · 12/10/2010 15:03

Hello all. AF is on her way out here so we're about to enter the SFF stage Grin. I'm temping too, with a Boots BBT themometer. My charts seem to vary wildly though month on month so heaven only knows what's going to happen this month. So far they plunged to glacial levels for days 2-4 and are now steadily climbing... Hmm

cep · 12/10/2010 15:44

ok so i've tried 4 cheapy internet test with negative results, and i was all intent on waiting another week but caved and took a tesco's own test. Well a faint line appeared but am so unsure as to whether to believe it or not. the instructions say that they do not have to match. has anyone else used these?

KnitterNotTwitter · 12/10/2010 18:06

Hey wonderful ladies

I've just had a quick read back up the thread and have been chuckling to see my 3x per night strategy has had a mention :-) FWIW we only managed 2x per night this month, and that stopped a couple of days after I ovulated (think DH needed a rest - well he was 40 this year the poor old thing :) )

I feel wildly pregnant at the moment but suspect it's just wishful thinking - even did a test this afternoon at 6dpo... obviously not even a flicker of a second line but I'm not despondent because by testing SOOO early I have a million reasons why there wouldn't be a second line... does that make sense!!

Anyway I've told myself that I'm not allowed to test again until the weekend - who wants to put money on whether I'll make it?

OP posts:
Wombat33 · 12/10/2010 18:12

Ha ha Knitter - if you're anything like me I'd be better off putting my money on you poas every day between now and the weekend Wink!

Cep I'm afraid I haven't but good luck! It's agony but all you can do is wait and keep pos every other day and see if the line gets more consistent. The advice that's usually trotted out on here is there it's much less likely to get a false negative than a false positive. I don't know whether that's true but I'll keep everything croossed for you.

GetDownYouWillFall · 12/10/2010 18:42

Waves to Knitter! I am on 6DPO too!! Oooh I wasn't going to test until next tuesday, do you think there's a chance of a +ve at the weekend?

LadyGoneGaga · 12/10/2010 19:02

Cep a line is a line, no? How far past ovulation are you? I'd say congratulations are in order Grin

5dpo here. Have some tummy cramps today which am convinced are implantation. But prob just need a poo! Not going to test yet though. I didn't get a BFP still 14dpo last time.

MrsP81 · 12/10/2010 19:07

Hey ladies

cep, a faint line sounds promising, I have my fingers crossed for you!

And I'm glad to hear that your herbal stuff seems to be doing the trick queenrollo.

Thanks for that link LadyGG, very interesting.

I'm just getting rid of AF here so will soon be time for some SWI-ing but first I need to get rid of this stinking cold that I've caught from somewhere. Bleurgh.

cep · 12/10/2010 19:17

thanks everyone. will be trying again tomorrow (and probably frequently :)) so will keep you posted

ravenlocks · 12/10/2010 19:24

Hi everyone!

Luce I have added you to the back based on your longest cycle length, don't want to lose you from the bus, and you can update if you get any signs you might be able to predict your cycle length this month.

inbetweener or peevedeve, how are you doing?

Starting to SWI over here. Managed Sat and last night, got some twinges tonight which might be Ov signs, but only CD13 and never Ov'd this early. But as I am not charting or OPK'ing this month (this is my chill out month) we are just going to SWI every 2 days and see what gives. There has been lots of debate on the thread about daily vs multiple times daily vs every 2 days. I got pg last time on every 2 days, and so am going to go back to that this cycle....having done daily for a few cycles and no cigar.

Brill cep, might be the shortest bus ride in history! Let us know if you keep getting BFPs, would be nice to crown you as first graduate!

Can't wait for the BFPs to come rolling in!

Good evening to all!!!Sorry I haven't been on here to much but I'm soooo p*d off lately....can't rememebr if I told you about the DR I saw a while ago for a second opinino who laughed at me and told me I was obsessed? well, that same Dr sent me a blood form by post a couple of weeks ago after I complained to the Surgery and requested to have a blood form for the Prolactine test ready. Well that useless DR sent one but she just put 'infertility investigation' on it so on Friday I called the H and askde it the form was ok.A very sweet woman told me that with thta form I was going to be turned away,so I called int he Surgery on Friday and asled for it to be amended quite quickly cause I needed to go and have the test done on specific days and that day was yesterday. Was told not to worry that it was going to be ready by Friday evening. Yesterday I went to collect it and guess what????It wasn't readyAngry !!!NO ONE had passed the message over to a Dr so my form was stashed in a drawer Hmm They apologised and promised I would get it done by 3pm ( the hospital wing where they do blood test closes at 4pm)and I don't drive so I needed time to get to the bus stop and get on a bus. Went there at 3 and guess what?????? NO DR'S HAD A LOOK AT IT!!!!!!Angry so then another Receptionist apologised and told me to wait for a DR to become available. so at 3.30 she comes back handing me the form.....but it has the wrong test on it!!!!!Angry Last week I specified I wanted my Prolactine levels checked and they put a note with my form...it looks like the note got lost so the Dr assumed I needed the 21 day testangry was told to wait but told them to stuff it cause it was too late for me to get to the Hospital on time!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

ravenlocks thanks for adding me to the list! Going to make this a "MAKE A BABY MONTH" so I'm back on Vitex,Evening Primrose Oil ( let's see if I can get more EWCM) and pre-conception vitamins. Also have a consultation with a reflexology tomorrow and one with an acupunturist on Friday...I'm sooo stressed ( although DH can't understand why Hmm so I had to remind myself that he's a man....)

PeevedEve · 12/10/2010 21:30

What a nightmare luce - no wonder you're angry. How soon before you can have the test again?

Luce2006 · 12/10/2010 21:33
