Good evening girls!!!! Long time no speak
HAe been pretty busy over the past 2 weeks.
Can see 3 more gradutes on the list!!!Grin
WEll, as I said a while ago I started having acupunture session and it seems that something is moving inn the right direction. I had a positi OPK on day 18 instead of day 21 as usual and got loads of EWCM ont he same day Grin we had intercourse on day 17 and 18 so hopefully we've catched the eggy. I'm still taking Agnus Castus to help with short luteal Phase and I"m hoping this month I'll have aNORMAL cycle for once!!!

KLou111 · 29/10/2010 18:45

I've got Take That tickets woooooohooooooo!! Been trying all day. Bit of a bad idea really cos if I've caught this month will be 8 months preggars and in the summer!!!!
Oh well. How are we all this fine evening???

Good luck Luce and Brasso x

KLou111 · 29/10/2010 18:52

forgot to say in all the excitement of that, I've got a strange metallic taste in my mouth, think am 7 DPO, could it be.........?

(really should have posted this first rather than Take That I know, but had the metallic taste all day so kinda got used to it so forgot to post about it)

littlemisslozza · 29/10/2010 20:49

I've got tickets too - bought seats just in case.... Have to say I felt slightly sick this morning, but that would have been the nerves while the websites kept crashing on me!

KLou111 · 29/10/2010 20:53

yay! So excited, been trying all day!

KLou111 · 29/10/2010 20:54

we got seats too, good job just in case!

Brasso4 · 30/10/2010 08:50

Thought AF was coming last night, pain in lower left abdomen area fully expected her to be here this morning but still no sign. Will test again this weekend but still not convinced (boobs not tender - usually a sure sign). Perhaps last night was a late ov in which case no chance this month - been too ill to do anything with DH!!! I remember how much I hate TTC.

queenrollo · 30/10/2010 13:16

that big stressful situation i spoke about? well DP's ex has accepted what he offered so once solicitors have done their job she will be out of our lives and I feel so relieved.

I'm not sure what's going on with me. I should have a shorter cycle this month, but going to leave it until 11th Nov to test unless Af gets me before then or i start to get symptoms. I'm going to ignore sore boobs though as i often get them for a whole week before AF shows up.

queenrollo · 30/10/2010 15:01

me again.

think AF may be getting ready to appear. I only think this because this afternoon I have suddenly become grumpy and just bit DP's head off over something ridiculously petty Sad usually get like this two days before AF shows up. Hope i'm wrong, hope i'm just tired and letting go of the stress of the week (building work now been put back two weeks due to major and quite expensive problem)but beginning to despair at this whole TTC lark and wondering whether it's worth emotional angst at the end of every cycle.

goldmaple · 30/10/2010 15:34

queenrollo glad to hear the situation with the ex is reolved!! Hope the moodiness is not AF coming but a little bean making your hormones go crazy!

Sorry to everyone that AF got! Good luck on the August Bus!

5DPO for me. No symptoms yet but its early so still have hope!

Good luck to everyone POAS soon!

Hulla · 31/10/2010 08:01

Hello, can I please join the bus? I'm 32, already have 1 DD who is 21 months old. This is our first cycle ttc and my periods have only just returned so my cycle length is pretty long, about 39 days I think (based on two cycles).

I have been using OPKs and FF thinks ovulated on CD19. That makes me 7dpo and I have absolutely no symptoms whatsoever!!

I think AF is due on 12th Nov which is ages away and make my 2ww more like a 3ww. I'm not sure how that works...not quite got the hang of TTC...well...other than the obvious Smile

Eskarina · 31/10/2010 08:04

Hi everyone
Just a quick update and will go back and read the thread properly in a minute to catch up. CD37 here, beating my previous longest cycle by 2 days but neither a sign of AF nor that second line on a pg test. I was really hoping that, having held off until I was back from holiday it would be late enough to either allow AF to show up or to get a BFP. Apparently not.
I've had sore boobs for a couple of weeks now and seem to need to pee more often, so I was hopeful. We'll see what the next few days bring, but I suppose I'm expecting AF to be honest. I reckon I ovulated on CD19, but FF reckons it was on CD25. So if FF is right then I suppose AF isn't late at all and isn't even due for a couple of days yet. Confused To make matters worse I didn't keep up the charting over the holiday so I have no idea what's going on.

GetDownYouWillFall · 31/10/2010 08:17

welcome back Eskarina how was Paris? Hope you had a lovely time!

Don't beat yourself up over not charting. You were on holiday, you deserved a break.

Sorry to hear that your cycle is proving elusive. It's frustrating when they are so long like that. I would reassure you though that mine are very erratic too, and when I did get pregnant with DD, it was ovulation on CD32!! I was starting to despair that I would never ovulate, but I did.

You may not have caught up on the thread yet, but I'm sorry to report I had a MC this week Sad on wednesday. Totally gutted but reaching the point of acceptance now.

I will probably have to get off this bus now and hop on to the August one. I've no idea what my cycle is doing now post MC, temps are up and down, but at least the bleeding is easing a bit now.

Eskarina · 31/10/2010 08:54

Oh Getdown I'm so sorry to hear that Sad

I hope you're getting some good support in RL too. You sound very strong.

I had a fab time in Paris, thankyou. We had amazing weather, and I really enjoyed showing DH round - I've been before, I spent a fortnight there whilst I was at uni, but he's never been.

GetDownYouWillFall · 31/10/2010 09:00

I'm not very strong really, I have a very strong God Smile who I cling to with all my might Smile

Glad you had a great time in Paris.

Eskarina · 31/10/2010 09:31

And in His strength we can do all things Smile. Will remember you in prayers. Hope you don't think I'm weird for praying for a "virtual" friend as well as RL ones!

GetDownYouWillFall · 31/10/2010 09:57

will pray for you too Eskarina Smile Children are a gift from him after all.

Eskarina · 31/10/2010 10:20

OK, have caught up a bit on thread.
Congrats to Scotty and MyLittleBubble, and queenrollo am glad situation with ex is looking more positive. Fingers crossed that it's not AF about to show up.

Going completely off topic here, I've just had some of the best news I could get (apart from a BFP!) and DH has cleared off for a 2 hour run so I can't tell him so I'm telling you lot instead! I've passed my MA!! It was rather a bland letter informing me that I will be pleased to know (well duh) and telling me about graduation procedures.

Ahem. As you were.

MrsP81 · 31/10/2010 10:49

Hello ladies, hope you all enjoyed your extra hour in bed this morning.

Well done Eskarina on your off topic news!

queenrollo, glad that your stressful situation has been resolved.

And welcome to Hulla!

I've still got sore boobs which is not a usual AF sign for me. However, I am feeling very crampy and that does feel like an AF sign. Sad I know it's not over til it's over but it's much easier to say that to somebody else than it is to believe it yourself!

Me and DH are having lunch with some family today so that will be a nice distraction from the 2ww.

KLou111 · 31/10/2010 11:42

Well, I'm having the shittiest of days. As queenrollo will understand with her recent loss.

Dog was rubbing his eye last night, thought he had something in it, hubby looked and couldn't see anything. Got up this morning as he is blind in that eye! It has totally clouded over like a white colour.
Phoned vet, and she said if he gets any worse take him down. He seems OK, wouldn't open that eye til an hour ago, I had to force it open to check it this morning.
He is his usual self with respect to eating, playing etc, but have read that if in one eye will go to his other eye.
We may have to make 'that' decision tomorrow......
Hubby and I are very upset, having a good cry. We've had him 8 years, and yes, he's a little shit sometimes, but couldn't bear it if we lost him.
To top it all off, it's my birthday tomorrow, I don't care about it now, he's more important, but what a great day that will be if the worst happens.
Feeling very :(

Brasso4 · 31/10/2010 16:02

Sorry to hear about your dog KLou. Hope it is all OK.

Well just done another test - BFN. No AF either. I hate TTC, my cycles are so long. Now on CD37. I just feel that with such long cycle lengths, I don't get as many chances as those with normal cycles. Grrrrrr!

Fairly sure that this month is a no go now, just waiting for AF.

GetDownYouWillFall · 31/10/2010 16:08

Oh brasso4 Sad it's so disappointing isn't it? My cycles can be up to 45 days so understand the frustration with having to wait so long for each "chance".

I would say that it's not over till it's over. If you ov'd later than you thought, you still could be pg just not enough to show up on the test yet.

Sometimes though, we just kind of get the feeling though that it's not the month.

I hope you get the BFP soon, maybe see you on the august bus!

Brasso4 · 31/10/2010 16:29

Thanks GetDown think I will probably need to head for the September bus!! If I ov'd late then I think the chances are slimmer, not much 'action' in last couple of weeks IYSWIM!!! I should know by the end of this week one way or the other. Feeling rough and just want to take cough medicine!!

Eskarina · 31/10/2010 17:05

KLou so sorry about your dog. Hope it doesn't come to making that decision. Sad

Brasso I'm on CD 37 too, longest previous cycle was 35 days and usually more like 33. I too hate that cycles are so long and seem to be getting longer, and especially hate the feeing that I'm somehow missing out on chances by not having as many cycles as most.

When were you planning on testing again, AF notwithstanding? I'm going to try to hold out until Wednesday (CD40!)

Brasso4 · 31/10/2010 17:45

I will probably test again on Thursday, that matches with our BDing times! Obviously AF might have put in an appearance since then.
