Anyone know what happened to Alien06 her AF was due today according to the stats....

Eskarina · 14/10/2010 18:27

Waves to new people. Welcome aboard.

My OPK's came today. How sad am I that I got very excited by it and ran off to give one a whirl. Perhaps I'm just getting carried away by the idea of actually being allowed to pee on something Grin It's positive so I guess I am ovulating at last. But I've also started spotting today. I hope it doesn't go on for 2 weeks like last month.

gettingonmyownnerves · 14/10/2010 20:10

Knitter that's so funny, hope you you were using cheapie tests! easily done though, I find myself wishing the weeks away, esp when not either ovulating or waiting to test.
Eskarina, great to know you are ovulating (peeing on things is addictive though) - have fun!
I have just realised that dh will be away around the time of ovulation - need to check exact dates but mightily peed off! was planning a major assault this month after a pretty mediocre effort last time.

ravenlocks · 14/10/2010 20:55

Glad you said that getdown as I really don't get EWCM and hoping it doesn't ruin my chances!

Chocoflakes · 15/10/2010 08:08

Hi, can I hop on?

Had a 2nd line appear this morning on a cheapie test, I have had symptoms for a week now,and I'm going to get a digital test to do tomorrow to make sure!

KnitterNotTwitter · 15/10/2010 10:50

Oooh choco sounds exciting.

Of course you can join - although you may be the speediest member of a conception bus ever!!

If you think you're pregnant then you may be better off on a Anti-Natal Bus... I think that you'd be due in June if you've just found out you're pregnant now... I think this is a link to the June Bus

But if you'd like to stay here until you're sure then it would be lovely to have you (and to claim you as a graduate :)) Let us know your stats and either add yourself to the list or if you just post your stats up someone else will happily add you.

Welcome Choco though fingers crossed it will be a very short trip Smile

Work very slow today... please let me only be stuck here for another nine months... pretty puleeze Angry

GetDownYouWillFall · 15/10/2010 13:55

me too Teds77 work is baaaaad at the moment, it would be so lovely to have an "end point".

I am driving myself potty with symptom spotting Sad

Have really sore boobs today and yesterday - hurts to run upstairs.

Also felt quite sicky this morning - but you don't normally get nausea till after missed AF do you?

LadyGoneGaga · 15/10/2010 15:19

Well, the mc has truly played silly buggers with my hormones. AF in full flow today giving me a LP of 7 days. Great. Going to the back of the bus in a huff. Red wine, soft cheese and raw eggs for me tonight. I am pretty clueless as to what "fun" japes my cycle might get up to next so am working on around a 35 day cycle which is a blind guess. Will update when I have ovved, in several weeks. FFS.

Still cycle 1 though as the last one was my free spin as not meant ttc before first AF. But did. Ha. That told you, medical establishment.

ph no ladyGoneGaga Sad I am so sorry to hear that Sad

Does sound like your cycle is still settling down after the MC.

Hope it starts being more sensible too. Hope you are ok? Take it easy tonight

GetDownYouWillFall · 15/10/2010 17:46

that was meant to be "oh no" - sorry

Eskarina · 15/10/2010 18:51

LadyGG sorry to hear AF has got you. I hope your cycle gets sorted out soon.

Blush I was incompetent and misread my OPK Sad In my excitement I expected it to be like a pg test where any line is positive. I checked the instructions properly today and the line has to be darker than the control. Mine was fainter, although it was vv faint yesterday evening and a bit less faint this morning. Am I clutching at straws here?

I had a bit of a funny turn at the gym tonight. Went all cold and shaky whilst I was running. I had to stop and come home early. I'm fairly sure it's because I had a light-ish lunch. I feel a bit better now I'm home and have had a couple of pieces of toast, although a hot shower was a mistake.

Luce2006 · 15/10/2010 19:00

evening girls!
Went for my first sesison of Aucupunture this afternoon...and i am SCARED OF NEEDLES!!!!!!!!lol Was an interesting experience...the Aucupunturist was lovely and talke me through the first part of the session and then left me on my own full of needles in my feet, arms and tummy for 25 minutes!!!I keep checking that she didn't leave any in!!!!LOL Feel very tired and dizzy...quite expensive at £49 per session but still cheaper than the £280 I got asked by the private Gyneacologist for the monitoring ( and he reckoned I needed at least 5 scans...)only going to do it till the appointment on the 18th of November with the Consultant...hopefully by then my cycles will be back to normal with ovulation at normal times!

GetDownYouWillFall · 15/10/2010 19:30

oh dear eskarina hope you are feeling a bit better now, get a good hearty dinner down you!

That's easily done about the OPKs - I probably would have done the same, had I not got the clearblue ones that are either smiley face or no smiley face. They're too expensive to use every time though.

Don;t worry, now you know how to read them, I'm sure you'll ov. soon. No idea really about the faintness of the line and then less faint, but I did read somewhere that you shouldn;t take it first thing in the morning as it takes a while to show up in your urine as the day progresses, I think after 2pm was recommended.

Also you should test at the same time every day and ideally not have peed for 4 hrs beforehand so it's nice and concentrated (tricky to hold on for that long though - esp if you are an avid tea drinker like me!)

Eskarina · 15/10/2010 21:31

Thanks Getdown I'm feeling a lot better now, and am having a quiet evening with a DVD and a large mug of tea - seems we think the same way on that subject Grin I've just finished the jumper I've been knitting so have a decent sense of self satisfaction to boot.

Mylittlebubble · 16/10/2010 07:04

Morning. I can feel the excitment raising on this thread as we approach POAS days.
So whose due up next? Alien06?

Getdown your symptons sounds positive Smile

My best friend got a BFP yesterday after using OP sticks, so excited for her. Hopefully I'll be sharing the good news with her next week.

I cried today for absolutely no reason at all in front of all my friends!! First sympton spot although it might just be my hormones ready for AF although haven't done that before!!

Hi ladies, how are we all today?

I am driving myself mental waiting to test. I feel a bit sick today but I'm sure that's probably because I didn't sleep too well. Arrrrgh, this is so hard!

Realised I forgot to put our graduate on the list! Sorry cep!

Graduates

Eskarina · 17/10/2010 09:23

Morning all, welcome emmylou and Terrys

Well, I've had two days of increased temps (36.50 rather than the usual 35.9) and cramps and a small bleed on thurs, so I'm hopeful that I have ovulated at last. Plus even the faint line has disappeared from my OPK so perhaps I wasn't too far wrong with those afterall. The good news in any case is that I started with small amounts of bleeding on CD20 last month and it didn't stop spotting until CD34 when AF arrived, and that's not happening so far this month.

I've also been a bit snappy with DH this week Sad We went into London and met his mum yesterday and I felt like they were both needling me until I snapped. Nothing major, and anyone who didn't know me wouldn't have noticed, but DH did, and I'm sure his mum did too.

wantonenow · 17/10/2010 15:18

Hi everyone,

Thought I'd join you all. I am 28, hubby is 32 and we want to start TTC this month. I came off the pill in December when I was an egg donor for my sister. I have been off the pill since then. Cycles took a while to get back to normal after the egg donation but are now 27-31 days. Am now on CD 7, ovulating around 25th October and AF due on 8th Nov. Am going to go for acupuncture and a nice massage this week as need to de-stress a bit!

This is my first time ever on MN (or any online forum actually!) so am a bit new to all this.

Good luck to everyone!

Wantonenow TTC#1 cycle 1 UCL 27-31 AF due 8 Nov
