Got pregnant and have polyps?

Anyone out there have diagnosed polyps then had a successful pregnancy without having them removed?
Have just had pelvic scan and have 3 polyps which have been blamed for my 4 miscarriages. The wait to have them removed is 6 months so i am quite likely to get pregnant in the interim. Am I heading for the inevitable 5th mc or is it possible to have a normal pregnancy whilst having polyps?

Hi Jasmine, I had 2 polyps but they didn't discover until after 1st mc! Mine were forcing the cervix open so I am guessing this is probably the same for you and would account for mc's but you should get that checked. I can't believe the wait to have them removed is 6 months, that's bloody disgusting. They found my polyps and removed them the same day, it's a stupidly simple procedure, you'd be in and out like a flash... perhaps go back to your GP and see if they can advise or find alternative hosp to make the referral too!
Good luck x

Thanks MamaPower
I saw my GP today and she is going to try and get me on the fast track which would be about 2 weeks wait on the NHS. However she has warned that they might not be prepared to use the scan I had done privately...and paid for...only last week...and will probably want to do their own...for which there will be a delay of a few months. All very frustrating. Got another appt at the private clinic tomorrow so will let you know what they say
x
