Welcome aboard, make yourselves comfy I have a feeling it's going to be a bumpy ride!

To be honest i can't remember what 'normal' was like i've been on the pill for so long! However, i did have a withdrawl bleed and then a 'proper' period about 25 days later. So, assuming my cycle is around 25 days then it's due in the next day or 2 which fits with my moodiness and sore bits

Yep, think we're pretty sorted for the wedding .

Anyway, i am now off to drink lots of beer while i still can. Have a good night all.

I think the delay is a good sign JS.....it has got to mean that they have not just plumped for the inside man (the temp). It is horrible waiting though, especially when you are so keen to get away from the BFH!

I have only got two and a half weeks left in my current job, can't wait to start the new one!

Wyorks- very exciting for your wedding bet your counting down the days, u will have to put a pic up of your big day, i dont know whether its a good thing or a bad thing that MN doesnt put lil profile pics up to who u talking to sometimes u get to know people really well and it wud be nice to put a face to the name if u know what i mean

Js- booo to waiting how annoying especially when u have prob been on tenderhooks all day

BEBE- im a glass half empty person most the time i think to, sometimes it works out better as your not disapointed bout stuff

ive been thinking bout taking DD to a puddleducks swimming class but there 10 pound a lesson they dont do these things cheap

Oh blimey JS, can't believe you're still on tenterhooks. How frustrating.

Still on tenterhooks myself here as AF still hasn't arrived - day 28 was a week ago now! Had very very very slight brown spotting this morning (and actually felt quite relieved ) but it hasn't developed into anything. Hmmm. Have had pre-menstrual bloated feeling since Monday and have also been feeling strangely lightheaded/dizzy a lot since then too, but no sore boobies which I always usually get a couple of days before AF.

Hark at me! (gives self good shake). Only been off the pill a month but already have turned into crazy gusset-rummaging symptom spotter. This doesn't bode well for anyone's sanity ladies. I've never had a late period before and it is flaming distracting!

What's on the menu for tonight Bebe? And what scenery are we to be passing through? Do we have any entertainment booked?

Nannyl how is your dad?

Nothing exciting happened here...

Not quite sure whats up with my dad, looks like he could have had another mini stroke? ... his mental abilities have decreased so much in the past 2 weeks, and in the past month or so he has gone from being fine-ish, to needing a carer once everyday to now not even being able to work out how to make a bowl of cereal or how to go to bed, so has a carer in at least twice a day, and this time last week we were wondering of he could even live at home anymore...

being his next of kin 250 miles away (and my sister in vietnam!) it was all very upsetting and stressful, but thankfuly my mum (his ex wife, who lives round the corner) has been fab and he seems to be stable again...
he will never get better, just trying to slow down his decline which has become very sudden recently

Nannyl - that sounds awful, poor you :( Really hope that you can find a way for him to be comfortable & cared for

Quod - Dinner on the train tonight is:
Chicken Parfait & toast
Melon & prosciutto salad
Pan fried salmon with green beans
Summer fruit pavlova
I just do the food, although maybe Jake & George could do a strip for us all...that'd be entertaining!

Oh Nannyl I'm sorry to hear that, it must be very difficult to deal with, and especially being so far away. Lovely of your mum that she is still there to help support him though. Sending best wishes out to your family.

Nannyl- so sorry, really good of your mum to help like that hopefully things wont get any worse

quod- how exciting, how many days past your AF do u think u will do a pregnancy test, u never know i had only missed a few pills and had sex twice and managed to get pregnant maybe theres something in the ccocktails on this new train u never know lol

i wish jake really was doing a strip tease, could we throw wentworth miller aboard to, he is quite simply my ideal man, just dont tell him im pregnant ;)

What good looking waiters we have on this train! I have just missed dinner (sorry bebe, am veggie anyway so only the pavlova is good for me) because I got distracted at the bar - espresso martinis and White wine are a good substitute though ;)

How exciting to have all these symptoms! Here's hoping the train is a lucky one.

I have been feeling a bit nervous lately at the thought of actually trying for kids! There's so much that'll change, with life and my career and it seems a bit overwhelming right now! There is definitely a down side to waiting and having too much time to think.

i had a good nites sleep :) and no work today yay, altho weather is rubbish so god knows wot i am going to do

WHYWAIT- my referral still hasnt come starting to bug me now i want my first scan booked so i can look forward to it and then find out whether everything is ok or not, i feel like your kinda in limbo till you get the all clear at your first scan, nope no sickness but i didnt get any last time round either, the taste of some food is different to what is was b4 tho, last time i was pregnant i went of tea completely so waiting to see wot food aversions i get this time hopefully really fattening foods lol

WhyWait I also too have a little crush on RPatz (or more accurately RPatz as Edward Cullen) - I have no idea how much younger he is but consol myself that it's better than having a thing for the warewolf!!!

Bebe Can't believe I forgot to wish you happy last jab day!! Especially as I was up all night in the kitchen baking you this lovely syringe shaped cake!
