So, I was due on on Wednesday (5 days ago). I have never been late before. We aren't trying but I have taken 3 tests anyway, all negative! Don't know what this means.

My breasts seem a bit bigger than usual and have been a bit achey, they are not sore to the touch though. Had a day of puffy nips a few days before I was due.

Has anyway else had a similar experience, what was the outcome, what should I do and HELP.

Give it a few more days.

The most common reason for a missed period (after pregnancy) is delayed ovulation. Usually caused by illness or stress. Were you ill around the time of ovulation or did anything happen to cause undue stress?

The other option might be that you didn't ovulate (normal to not ovulate every now and then) and this can also cause a late period.

It is also possible that you're pregnant and it's just not showing up yet. It does happen.

I'd wait until next week, if no period, test again. If the test is negative, see your GP (not because I think anything is wrong btw, but because they might suggest something I haven't thought of and if it runs on for a while, they can help get your cycle back on track).

RFP is right. Could be delayed ovulation, no ovulation or pregnancy.

Give it another few days and test again if no period. I have in the past had up to 2 weeks late through ovulation issues (I was ttc so was tracking all this obsessively).

However, I just found out I was pregnant. Tested the day period due and when 2 days late - both tests negative. Tested a week late, positive. So that is possible too.

Not sure what result you are hoping for but good luck. And if you're worrying, do see your gp just in case - as RFP said - there's anything else to look into.

wow thanks for the quick replies.

I can't think of any particular stress or anything that was happening other than a really sore dental problem - maybe that was enough. I did notice that I had some ewcm quite recently so that would make sense.

I will take both of your advice. Norkily - we weren't trying and it isn't a great time, but if I did turn out to be preg Shock I am sure it would turn out OK. Would just be a big shock.
