superdrug pregnancy tests?

Hi, just used a superdrug pregnacy test but confused by results can anyone help please? The round window has a vertical line and the square window has a horizontal line - yup i threw away the packaging in a sanitary bin so no way of retrieving it! Can anyone help please? thank you all x

Anyone at all? i'm figuring it's a dud test....

have been googling for you, but all i found was someone who had the same problem

she said that one window is the control window. that will have a thick pink line to show the test has worked

the other window will have either a vertical or a horizontal line. but she couldn't remember which one meant you were pregnant. i would guess vertical so it matches the control line... but that is only a guess.

Ah thanks thisisyesterday i'm not thinking that i am pregnant as i'm still on the pill, but just been feeling like i am - if that makes senese?! sore boobs, sicky and queasy,but then it is probably just AF on her merry way..... this would be a very unplanned 3rd (but not unwanted!). The round window (marked c) is the control and the square (marked t) is the test or results window

It says nothing about the line being the wrong way round, just that a vertical line in the square as well as the round test means pregnant

I'd try another one to be sure, but then thats me!

hmm i'm thinking as the line was horizontal ,then it was a dud test.. the Control window had a vertical line though.... hmmmm might have to go purchase some more! Thanks eaglewings

I had similar with an old Boots test , and it was negative.

Thanks melrose kind of thinking that way myself. i'll wait for AF to appear before i think about testing again. Thanks ladies x

I have the instructions before me and it's definately two vertical lines, sorry :-(
