Bfp advice please :)

Hi ladies, wonder if you could put my mind at rest.

I charted my bbt & it shows a clear ov date of 30 aug. I tested @ 11&12 dpo & both bfn. Tested today (mid morn) & there is a feint bfp there. Am loathe to get my hopes up because both my previous pregnancies showed strong bfps at 12dpo.

Should i be worried that its not stronger by now? Thank you :)

Hi there. It's still quite early so not necessarily a bad sign. Testing first thing in the morning might give you a darker BFP.

It all sounds a bit too scientific to me - surely if you have a positive test you're pregnant?

Sorry to hear that. Happened to me too so I can appreciate that you're worried. If it's all darker tomorrow or the day after then that's a good sign. However, even if it's not, sometimes it can take a while for the hormones to build up so don't lose hope

I don't know how long you've been on this forum, but I've been reading threads on here for about a year, and I've seen this question asked many times i.e. it's a faint line what does it mean, etc. and if I had a pound for every time it's turned out to mean that a baby is on it's way, I could by now have furnished my imaginary baby's nursery in quite posh style I can tell you.

Oh no amanda i meant it jokingly honest! Well, did the test with fmu & its much feinter, barely visible so guessing hgc levels are declining. Funny isnt it how you just 'know' these things. Scientific or not . Will wait for AF to arrive in next few days now. Back to the grindstone . Thanks for your help ladies .
