I have been TTC for two years. My periods have been getting really erratic, and my cycle changed. I am now 8 days over my usual cycle at its longest length. However, the other day, I thought I had started, but although I have bled a tiny bit, its not heavy, only really on the tissue when I go the loo, and really dark blood.
DH kept telling me not to test, and to "wait and see". I am far tooooo impatient. So - tested this afternoon. Despite the blood, my test is positive.
Thoughts? Please!

Well I think you are pregnant if you have a poisitve test.

AmandaCooper · 14/09/2010 19:06

You are pregnant then. Congratulations!

Have you got any symptoms? How long is your usual cycle?

IheartRPatz · 14/09/2010 19:14

Grin am in shock.
My cycle was 28 days, then went to 30, and then to 31. Even counting 31 days I'm 8 days overdue.
Do I need to worry about the fact there is still a bit of blood when I go to the loo?

Symptom wise - am knackered, my was recently on iron tablets so hadn't thought anything of it, and have really sore boobs.

Congratulations! You definitely sound pregnant! Just for peace of mind re: the bleeding: get yourself off to your gp first thing in the morning. It's certainly not abnormal, but it may alleviate any worries/ doubts you may be experiencing. Hope you have a worry free 9 months. Good luck and well done.

WOW.
Haven't told DH yet. Have just propped the test on the bathroom window sill and am waiting for him to get home.
I bled while carrying DD, but not at the beginning, from about week 11 to week 14.
Will speak to docs. Need to see what to do about the iron tablets anyway.

Iheart - Congratulations! Obviously go see your doctor, but if you're obsessing right now, then check out this link for mn stuff on bleeding whilst being pregnant:

(if it's pasted correctly...)

Could just be implanting bleeding?
