37 and 22 months TTC

Can anyone beat that?

Have first appt at fertility clinic on Friday. Am VERY anxious.

I want a baby NOW. Enough is enough, I think I've been more than patient.

We do have sex , my bloods came back fine, DH has 2 children already, why are we not getting our baby?????

Maybe I should have make that clearer - I'm old 37 and have been trying for 22 months. 22 babyfails.

Does the term 'BESH' mean anything to you???

I know of a fair few BESHes wimminz who have been TTC longer and have had a babywin. Do no despair! And there is support here, if you know where to look for it

I think its me who is insane! I have seen the BESH threads... but I'm a shy barren old hag. I'll pluck up the courage shall I?

I was 37 when I conceived and gave birth to my daughter (now 4) and it took well over two years to conceive her. We were booked in for IVF when it happened naturally (and all our tests came back clear - unexplained fertility). Have been TTC #2 for the last four years and am now on second round of IVF.

If you're going to be doing IVF, there's a good assisted conception thread around in this folder. Very kind and knowledgeable people there.

Ah, it's not so bad. I do have my lovely daughter, even if it seems quite likely that I won't have any more children.
