E45 cream while ttc

Have name changed for this basically because I know how stupid it sounds but I do get a bit over anxious during ttc and pg.

I occasionally use E45 cream on my vagina for a skin condition. I am now ttc and asked my doctor if I was still able to use the cream while ttc and while pregnant. He said this was fine.

I was going to wash it off before bd but last night I had sex after just putting on the cream. I am now worried that this will harm the sperm. If it just kills the sperm then that is fine as I still have time to try again before I ovulate but I am just worried that it will affect the sperm and cause problems for the baby if I conceive this month.

I think you're being a leeetle overly worried here, pal. The sperm will have gone way past the cream, assuming you didn't actually quirt it right up to your cervix. There is nothing on Google about E45 being a notorious spermicide, and I suspect you would need to be using some kind of mad radioactive uranium-based cream in order to conceive a child with some sort of problem.

Also, your GP said it was fine.
