Hi Ladies

Harry2007 Glad to hear that your pregnancy is going well. Good luck!

PinkCustard Sorry to hear AF has got you

AnytimeNOW Good luck for the doctor's appointment.

Well AF has just arrived this evening for me too. [hsad] I'll re-set my stats tomorrow.

I'd been getting all excited too as I know the luteal phase is pretty steady from month to month. Last month I peaked on CD15 and ov'd CD16. AF arrived evening of CD28 so my luteal phase was 12 days.

Got peak on CD15 this month too. Again, ov'd on CD16 so when I was still only spotting yesterday and AF proper hadn't arrived I began wondering... always dangerous. Weird though that my LP has been 14 days this month....

EmmaC29 · 28/10/2010 21:07

Hey All Just popping in to say hello x

Sorry to hear AF might be on its way PinkCustard I feel exactly the same, I feel we've tried really hard this month but I will not be suprised if AF arrives a week on Saturday Sad It's hard to stay positive when you keep getting a BFN isn't it?! People say it'll happen soon and you want to believe them, but its makes you believe it'll never happen - i know exactly what you mean when you say you think it'll never happen. XX

Anytimenow FX for when you go to the clinic - hopefully you'll get some answers and some help if needed. Must be very frustrating for you, not knowing why it keeps happening.

Something that might cheer you all up my Managing Director was the in the office yesterday and said 'right Team - we're going to do some training on BD'ing i nearly laughed my head off really loud - and thought - if only you know - i spend a week doing that non stop most months [hblush]!!! xxx

KC you are a star!!

Boba - where are you at with testing/treatment, or are you going to beat your cd of 100?

Lychees · 29/10/2010 19:11

Well done on the new stats, KC ... very good idea. Sorry about AF getting you.

This month we have decided to do it caveman-style so although I will still be poas for my CBFM, we are going to BD every other day from tomorrow night until AF ... or at least we're going to give it a good try.

Hope you all have fab weekends.

I'm hoping that for Halloween there will be some good scary movies on TV ... I love a good horror [not the gore-fests though]. Also, clocks go back so an extra hour in bed [hopefully].

MissLolita · 29/10/2010 19:13

Hi all, just popping in, I've been on holiday (from work rather than some fabulous glam location) and staying with my parents who have no internet access!!
Hope you are all ok? I've skimmed the posts and I seem to have missed lots!
Anyway, some possible good news - I did a test earlier today and got a faint second line! Admittedly the line is VERY faint but it is a line. I even got dh to double check it. I know it's really early days and I'm not getting my hopes up but I'm quietly a bit excited Smile
Got to dash again - sorry to jump in and out!

AnytimeNOW · 29/10/2010 19:49

Yay MisL fingers crossed x

KnackeredCow · 29/10/2010 22:03

Lychees Clocks going back - good point.

Was thinking about that today when I reset the CBFM - testing windows will change this month and move back an hour - reducing lie in time at weekends .... [hsad]

Liking the caveman style idea. Am laughing lots! Grin

Glad the new stats are going down well (just like the wine I'm currently slurping)...

MissLolita brilliant news! Congrats!!! [hgrin] Everything crossed for you this month (except my legs as not conducive to allowing Mr KnackeredCow to impregnate me - sorry TMI [hblush])

Off to finish my vino

rosieposey · 29/10/2010 22:49

Hello ladies, how are you all doing?

harry so glad to hear your pg is progressing nicely - phew! 17 weeks already.

keziah nice to see you - hope you are holding up ok.

So sorry that so many of you have been caught out by AF - its rubbish and so disappointing. I do keep up with you all just dont post that much or havent this month as ive been such a miserable old bag. Really had high hopes for last month and now im so close to the one year ttc mark im feeling a little like its never going to happen. But! Counting my blessings everyday iykwim.

Misslolita thats great news - BFP's on here aplenty this month.

On 11dpo here today and despite saying i wasnt going to test early after last month i did a sneaky dip test internet cheapy this morning and got a faint line, did 4 more before going out and faint lines on them as well - just did two more before bed and they have fairly strongish lines on each. Used the plastic coated slightly less senstive (20 miu instead of 10 miu) and nothing on those so its either very early or its a pg going tits up like last month again, i know, i know! Im my own worst enemy BUT in my defence i was going out and just thought id have a quick check before quaffing lots of wine - in the end im so tired we came home early and of course no wine for me! Will see what the next two days bring - AF due either day after tomorrow or Monday but have had 7 positives on those internet cheapies today so something is happening just need it to stick now.

On another note, we did a haunted hayride this evening and it was brilliant. Actors jumping out at you and it was very very dark - such fun! My DC's love Halloween and dress up and decorate the house, they love the fact that they have a younger brother as an excuse to go out trick or treating and dressing up.

Hope you all have a fab weekend, will let you know if i get a more positive positive by Monday - might even break out the First Response on Sunday! After last month i am sort of ambivelent as i know it could easily happen again but there is something about seeing those second lines come up that give you just the teeneyist tinyist bit of hope hope so we shall see.

rosieposey · 30/10/2010 14:23

That bfp is still proving to be elusive. Still getting positives today on 10 miu sticks and got the faintest 'squint and you might miss it' line on a 20 miu but the FR was neg so tbh not holding out much hope as AF isnt supposed to be far away and i think something should at least be showing on a FR.

Its very confusing but i suppose i know in my heart of hearts that my hcg should be alot stronger especially with a FR but only time will tell.

Going to the cinema tonight to see an advanced screening of 'let me in' i loved the original 'let the right one in' so i really hope this is a good one too.

The weather is shite here today - i love Autumn usually but its been really wet here for the last few days and i just wish it would get to those lovely crispy Autumnal days that i love so much but its just soggy out there!

No real news from me. Have just finished first round of clomid so just a LOT of bding and fxing or me this month, a 28 day cycle would be a good start!

Dh has man flu, so know it is unlikely we can conceive naturally but hope he survives and recoveres soon as we missed last month out due to treatment!! Oh joys, but CBFM is now on and had sticks anyway so may as well use!!

rosieposey · 31/10/2010 07:35

Morning all, Keziah sorry to hear your DH has man flu - its terrible when they get it isnt it? Wink

Well tests were all neg this morning so i looks like im out again. Just waiting for temps to drop and AF to get here.

Is anyone doing anything special for Halloween, party or anything? Were just taking DS trick or treating - well i think its more of an excuse for my DD's to dress up and take him out dressed up too.

Up stupidly early this morning due to the clocks going forward - DS always takes a few days to readjust.

Hope everyone is ok and having a great weekend.

Hi just updating stats as AF arrived fully fledged yesterday. However, when I only had a 9 day LP last month I started on the B6 and it has gone back to 12 days this month and my period is definitely heavier than usual so I think it must be doing something.

Rosieposie am keeping my fingers crossed for you that AF steers clear and you get another positive in the morning.

Big congrats Miss Lolita Smile

Lychees I'm thinking that every other day sounds like a good plan and I was thinking of doing the same this month as it covers all bases, keeps the swimmers healthy, and we found a week of every day a bit of a strain last month, and as it didn't work anyway, why put ourselves through any extra stress?

Clocks going back wasn't too bad this morning, DS was up at 7am new time, but for some reason I'm feeling more tired than usual. I did take him out to a toddler's Halloween party this morning though so that could explain my fatigue...thankfully DH has taken him round to him mum's for a bit.

I cheered myself up yesterday by going out and buying myself some new skinny jeans and then enjoying a few glasses of nice cold vino in the evening, as I'm trying to appreciate not being pregnant and am going to try and stop panicking too much about it taking longer than I would like...not sure how long my optimism will last but am feeling ok at the mo Wink

Just updating todays stats and adjusting mine as they were slightly wrong.

My new job must be good for me as I peaked on days 15 and 16 which a "normaly" cycle.

Hope everyone is OK and thought I'd post so's not to get relegated to the playing truant board!

Missyraines · 01/11/2010 07:58
  • "normal cycle" even!
KnackeredCow · 01/11/2010 09:53

Hi All. Hope everyone had a good weekend. I've just adjusted my stats as they were a day out.

Boba Good to see you back with a more normal looking cycle. Are you on Clomid or still on a waiting list for treatment?

Pink Sorry to hear that AF got you too Sad

wantbaby Any news for you this month?
