i know people always say it's possible to get pregnant even if you're on your period
or that some people get pregnant just before or just after....

how does this happen?
i mean, if you've just had your period. is it just a case of you ovulate again at random?

i don;'t know how it all works!

This has always baffled me I don't see how it could possibly be true when being actually on your period. Maybe maybe just after, I always wondered why people said it, weird.

Ovulation can happen at odd times

so if you ovulated at random just after your period, but didn't get pregnant you would have another period straight after?

No presumably you wouldn't actually get pregnant during but the sex would be during, the sperm surviving until early ovulation say CD 8, followed by a long luteal phase. I think?

No. If you don't get pregnant after ovulation (at whatever point in your cycle ovulation starts) then you have a period at the usual due time.
