Too early to test?

My period is not due for 10 days, is it too early to test using first response? Ive got a few symptoms and the wait is driving me mad!

when is the very earliest i should test? Im going out of my mind!

p.p.s it will more than likely show a negative result which may or may not be true but will make you feel a little bit crest fallen nontheless.
4 more days you can try a first response! (they say they can detect the pg hormone 6 days before AF!)

Dpends on when you ovulated. You really need to be 10 days post ovulation even with the early tests - and I think they even say they are only 37% at 10 DPO

Think I ovulated 8 days ago so I guess it is still is too early.

Think i'll wait too more days...now must find something to keep me occupied for the two days now...

Its a nightmare waiting! I've convinced myself I could be pregnant before but i've never felt like this before.

Everything smells so strong and I nearly threw up today when I was out walking with a friend. I think I'm going to test in the morning, It will have 10 days after ovulation but 10 days before my period. I'm not expecting a BFP tomorrow but I can't wait any longer for a maybe.

I know I have probably imagined all of my symptoms but I have my fingers and toes crossed!

Thinking11 - fingers crossed for you. So very tempting to test but if you can wait, I would wait... such a waste of emotional energy to test too soon...

I got false negatives by trying to test as early as you are thinking of trying to test. I spent money we could ill afford - and I made a right fool of myself at my local pharmacy, saying "I know I'm pregnant, really I am, but these 3 tests have said I'm not" - even though I was in fact pregnant and at least time has proved me right!!

Hope you get the positive test v. v. soon - and if you don't there is always next time

When I was at the same point as you I had a massive craving for milkshake. I didn't even connect it to being pg.

I got a positive at 11dpo but it was soooooo faint, really, wait a bit longer!

Thinking11 I know it's hard to wait, but saves a whole lot of heart ache so if you can do.

If you really really can't hold on anymore then I suggest getting a super cheapie to pee on. They're just as likely to give an accurate result with out hurting the bank balance. Once you have a BFP then you get an expensive one for the 'official' result.

Its not a matter of 'there's always next time' as i'm not exactly in a relationship. Things are very complicated which is probably why i'm so desperate to get a BFP. Im not tricking or decieving the guy he knows the score and if an 'accident' happens he'll stand by me but he's not planning to be a dad.

I am currently searching for a donor as im a single and he knows all about my intentions.
