I gave in, POAS, and am now v.confused

I have stupidly done a test, very cross with myself as obviously it's far too early and I should have known better. I'm on CD 22 of 28. I have had a few signs that could be either pg symptoms or just me over analysing.

I used FMU and after 5 mins there was no second line. But when I looked again after about 30 mins there is a very, very, very faint line (if you hold it right by the window and at an angle!) I now have no idea at all. What do you think???

Seem to remember similar happening with ds but think the super faint line was later on in cycle.

Sounds like you have seen an evaporation line.

Testing this early in your cycle is not a good idea really, better to wait till you are at least one week late.

Oh dear! It's so hard to wait when you're hopeful, isn't it?

My advice is to wait until day 28, then buy one of the digital tests and try again. Really can't see the point in fretting over whether there's a line or not when, for a couple of quid more you get a simple pregnant/not pregnant.

I'm just as bad with the early testing I did three before my period arrived today. The first two were utterly pointless. It really is very hard to wait! But the time instructions are important. Don't read the line after ten minutes, or whatever it says on the packet. And a line, even if feint, should be visible without the window trick! I prefer tests with pink lines not blue lines. I find the feint blue possibly bfp versus greyish evap line hard to distinguish.

Oh G-d, it's SO hard to wait. But sounds like evap line. I'm on CD22 too and really feeling your pain but you need to step away from the pee sticks for at least four more days!
