TTC this month if x-ray/dye appointment booked?

Hi

I've got an appointment for dye to be squirted into lady-bits and for an xray to be taken to see if there are any blockages. (I don't know what the test is actually called)

It's likely that the test will be booked on CD10. I normally ov on CD13-15.

Does anyone know if ttc is scuppered this month? Or will everything still work this month?

It's my first month on Clomid and, assuming things are actually blocked, I don't what this month to be a right off.

thanks in advance
Brassica

Hi
I did the sensible thing and rang the consultant.
Of course, I didn't get to speak to him to did speak to his secretary.
Apprarently there is nothing to stop us going on to ttc this month even though it's only a few days after the tests.
Thanks
Brassica

apparently you are more fertile after the test because your tubes have had a good flush out. I know of several people (myself included) who fell pregnant straight after a dye test. Good Luck, hope it's good news.

Thanks for that row

I'm not looking forward to it at all!

my dye test was under a general so can't say from personal experience but everyone else said it was just a bit of mild discomfort, take some paracetamol an hour beforehand. Plus you'll be awake to ask questions :)
