Surrogate for brother and sister in law

My SIL has just found out that she has to have a hysterectomy due to pre-cancerous cells. They have been TTC for 5 years now and this has come as completely devastating to both of them especially as it need to happen in the next few weeks. I have offered to become a surrogate for them. She is going to enquire about harvesting her eggs, or even if this is not possible I am still prepared to carry a child for them if they can find an egg donor so the child can still biologically be my brother's, if not hers. Does anyone have any experience or knowledge of this at all? We've only found out today, so are still coming to terms with this devastating news, but I am prepared to do this for them as having had 2 children myself I can understand their desire to have their own family.

I read in another thread on here that if you were willing to donate your eggs to an anonymous couple on your SIL's behalf, your SIL can go to the top of the waiting list for donor eggs in exchange. Not sure if that is something you'd consider? Might be worth looking into.

Thankf for all your help ladies. I shall keep you all posted. She's seen some specialists and is getting conflicting opinions at the moment but is back to see her consultant on Thursday after an MRI. Hopefully we shall know some more then.
