PND, BFing, TTC, Increased chance of multiples - Am I over analysing things a bit??

Please bear with me on this!! I have a 7mo DD and would love to have another DC soon - very soon. I have PND - not very badly but enough that I have days where I am a weepy useless heap. I am having counselling though and it is helping.

I have heard/read about increased chances of having multiples if a) mum is still lactating - I am (DD gets one feed a day from me), b) mum is above average height - I am, c) mum is older - I'm not, d) history of multiples - none on either side.

A fortune teller once told me I would have twins - I know its a load of guff but its gotten into my head!

I am concerned that if I do become pg that it will be twins and I will have 3 under 2 and loose the plot with a renewed bout of PND.

As I write this it sounds crazy but I would be interested to hear from anyone with any experience of any/all of the above or even just to hear that I'm not the only one who can concoct such incredible scenarios to worry about!

I think you're worrying too much. It's not crazy to consider this as a potential risk, because you do have to think through all the possibilities, but I think this one is fairly remote.

You need to think what you will do if it is twins and how you will cope. Will that cause more problems than waiting for a while? Are you on any medication for the PND?

No sorrento not on any meds - counselling seems to be helping but it is early days.

Amanda thanks I think you are right its just on my wobbly days I tend to go to for the worst case scenario but the rest of the time I think it will be fine.
