Positive on FRER and CB plus..negative on CB digital?

Hi everyone..I am new to this site and was hoping you can shed some light on this for me.

This morning (2nd wee of the day) I tested blatantly positive on a CB plus test in the 10 minute time frame and also tested very faintly positive on a FRER last night. However this afternoon I tested negative on a CB digi and again this evening. The line on the CB plus is blue and goes right through the middle in fact there is an evap line to the left of that one so I'm pretty certain this is a genuine BFP..I just don't understand the negs on the digi's..aren't they supposed to be the daddy of all tests??

This is driving me insane.

Just a little more info - I am 12 DPO and I am presenting with some Early PG symptoms.

Hello, I think you are definitely pg! Did you, ahem, "hold your water" for four hours before the later tests? If you are testing early, you need to do that for enough hormones to build up to register.

Also, FR is hugely more sensitive than CB so I'd test again in a day or two with saved up wee (sorry, couldn't think of a nicer way of saying that)!

The first digi I did was say 3 hours after my positive and it kept flickering to the error sign before settling on neg and I did the second one about 1-2hrs later

i dont find the digis any help at all im afraid, there a waste of money, i did a test last pregnancy and it said i was 1-2 weeks, but i had a scan a few days after as i was getting bleeding and the scan showed a 6 week old feotus with a heartbeat, if id have took the test a few days earlier it prob would have told me that i wasnt 2. they say if you get a proper posative its rarely wrong where as false negatives are quite common.

frer is one of the most sensitive. Do another one of the same brand that you got the bfp on. Perhaps in a couple of days time? If you get bfp twice on the same test you know it will be good news! fingers crossed for you :)

Yes, FR more senssitive than CB dig I believe. FWIW I avoid CB non-dig like the plague because I had had apparent faint but def there positives come up straight away but it was neg; I was able to get a replacement though with the careline. Good luck!

I feel your pain! Apparently the CB Digital ones are notoriously unreliable, I've seen so many posts from people on here worried as they've had varying results.

How are you today? Have you done anymore tests? When is your AF due? Sorry, so many questions!!

I got a really strong positive from a FR one last night (2 days before AF due) but I think I will hold off on the digital until next week as I am paranoid I tested too early and AF will show up to spoil the fun!
