my "real" MN name is Mandymoo. I usually post on the parenting/behaviour and chat threads. Thanks for all your replies X

Mandymoo · 30/08/2005 17:59

Well, i'm gonna assume so - A lot of people tell me that even a faint line is a positive result!! Will test again next week but with all my sypmtoms etc, i think its a good sign!!!

flamesparrow · 30/08/2005 18:11

Oooh, I was wondering who you were, and I recognise your name too!! (Gotta be a first for me, I'm useless with names normally)

Mandymoo · 30/08/2005 18:17

sorry - just didnt want to use "real" name to begin with as I was asking really daft questions which I should have known the answers to!!

vickitiredmum · 30/08/2005 18:18

i have shares in clearblue and first response i used so many for both my DD and DS - i couldnt believe the faint blue lines and kept testing too! Congratulations Mandymoo!

Mandymoo · 30/08/2005 18:20

so - a faint line is still a positive?????!!! I JUST CAN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!!

flamesparrow · 30/08/2005 18:24

Yup - the facts haven't changed since lunchtime... faint line still = positive

PeachyClair · 30/08/2005 18:28

Faint line is a positve alright, trust me (and the incredibly noisy four year old flinging Spag Bol at his Dad, who was also a faint line, so much so it took two flourescent bulbs to be sure!).

Congrats, you lucky thing!

Mandymoo · 30/08/2005 18:29

pmsl flamesparrow - this is precisely why i didnt want to use my "real" name!!! I'm having a "doh!" day today - want to believe it but can't believe it iykwim!!! Thanks for being so patient - can you believe i already actually have one child?!!!!

Mandymoo · 30/08/2005 18:30

Peachychair - thanks!! At first i thought i was dreaming a line was there but DH could even see it!!

flamesparrow · 30/08/2005 18:38

You're talking to the woman who didn't even wait for the test to develop, convinced that I'd tested too early - I chucked it in the bin, and half an hour later decided that checking might be wise!!!

I am now sat here in my trousers with the waist that comes up to my nipples, eating all the grapes in sight (nice healthy craving)

Mandymoo · 30/08/2005 18:42

lol - well, i'm in good company then!! When are you due flamesparrow if you dont mind me asking?

flamesparrow · 30/08/2005 18:43

24th Feb

I'm growing soo much faster than with DD

Mandymoo · 30/08/2005 18:46

Well, good luck and i hope i can call on you when i have more stupid questions to ask

I'm already thinking about names etc!! I am SO impatient. Funny, as soon as i did the test today, i suddenly had the urge to eat cake!!

misdee · 30/08/2005 19:23

with dd1 i remmeber going 'is that a line, is it? i can barely see it!' it was really faint, it looked like a water mark lol. i tested again 2 days later and got a really strong positive.

Mandymoo · 30/08/2005 19:50

Misdee thanks - gonna test again soon just to make sure!!!! BUT THERE IS DEFINITELY A LINE THERE!!

Hulababy · 30/08/2005 21:47

Congratulations!

flamesparrow · 31/08/2005 18:33

Still a line?

Mandymoo · 31/08/2005 19:46

Just tested again and there is a lovely dark line now!!!!!
