I just for a BFP

am trying to work out my due date (eek) but its been a funny old cycle!!

First day of last period was July 16th,

Af was due August 16th, but did test then and negative,

tests upto august 21st were negative,

22nd august i got a fainnnt line and BFP this morning.

with DD I ov'd day 21

I think i have OV'd late again as i always get my first line 13dpo on last 3 pregnancies.

I'm worried about getting my date right as i will be having a homebirth and don't want them telling me im over due when im not!

any ideas?!

or should I just tell them my last period date and tell them i think I OV'd late and see what the scan says?

Hello and congratulations, youve given me hope for this month after reading about how you dont get a bfp till a few days after af is due. I would tell them the date of last af and the scan may revise the EDD as it often does. Good luck!

They only use the last period date provisionally until your scan gives a date. If you use the bbc pregnancy calendar I think you can input your conception date and get a calendar and edd that way.

If there is a discrepancy of a week or more between scan date and last period date, they will go with the scan date.

it doesn't matter really, the will go by your scan date

toto I should have been spotting for the last couple of days but im as clean as a whistle, definitely had a 'different' month but bfn's so far, just sitting it out now. I think the fact I got a bfp the day af was due last time is making me think its just a longer than normal month, though yesterday I did have a tinge of red, blink and you miss it kind of thing so may be implantation as not had anything else, fingers crossed, otherwise here we go again!
