Unmumsnet hugs wombat. May bus wasnt lucky for me either so if you fancy a glass of plonk come and join me

(and i do think a june baby is prob better as would be off work for xmas 2011!)

Wombat33 · 07/09/2010 11:48

Thanks Fluffy. Until I find out otherwise I think I'm going to treat my current bleeding as if it was a period, which it may be, so let's say I'm on CD2 today.

fledtoscotland a glass of wine might be good, thanks!

KnitterNotTwitter · 07/09/2010 11:58

Well the good news from me is that DH and I agreed we are TTC this month so this week is going to be busy :) I had thought he was thinking we should delay by a month to let my body recover from the miscarriage properly... but he seems keen which is nice

Next few weeks look busy though - lots on at work AND we've decided to put our house on the market....

fatheadsgirl · 07/09/2010 12:08

Hi all.
Wombat So sorry to hear your news. Hope you're doing ok. More very un-mumsnet hugs your way.

Suedehead Congratulations!! Great to have our first graduate!

I had my first appointment at the Recurrent Miscarriage Clinic today. The doctors were all really nice which was good because I get very nervous around people I don't know, discussing things that are private, who doesn't I guess. Have to go back when(if) AF arrives this month between CD2-5 and have blood tests done and then again in Oct for a biopsy. Thought I'd be feeling a bit more positive about TTC after todays app but I'm a bit low tbh. Sure I'll snap out of it though.

Hope everyone else is having a good day Smile

Sorry you are down fatheadsgirl, so hard with what you have been through BUT reasons to be cheerful are that you have taken really positive steps to get to the bottom of things, had a good experience with the doctors (let's face it, not guaranteed) and it seems like they have committed to do lots of things to help asap.

Smile
8rubberduckies · 07/09/2010 21:07

What ravenlocks says, fatheadsgirl Smile, all steps in the right direction!

I am also feeling like a bit down today, AF is being a killer this month and got a stinking cold; wish I had a medicinal brandy in the house Grin. I also took some steps in the right direction today and have booked in to see a GP in my practice who specialises in fertility issues tomorrow. Am going to go along like a good girl who does her homeowrk with all my charts printed off Fertility Friend in a little folder!I've kept putting it off, but as we've been trying for over six months now I suppose I'd better take a deep breath and admit I may be in for the long haul... better get a regular commuter bus pass Wink

GoodVibrations · 07/09/2010 21:54

Sorry for those ladies who are having a bad day :(

I am going slightly mad and symptom spotting in the most ridulous way (bearing in mind I'm only on CD21 and have missed a fair few days of SWI). So far I have:

Felt sick on 2 mornings (I have IBS so this is not unusual for me)
Felt very thirsty (which of course is nothing to do with me going for a run, having drunk next to nothing all day)
Needing to wee a lot (not unusual, I have a tendency to forget to drink then down a pint of water)
Wanting to eat everything in sight (ok so this one may be completely in my head and my subconscious trying to justify eating an entire tub of Ben & Jerry's to myself)

So the only real symptom is that I am beginning to lose the plot!. Only just started ttc but have wanted another DC for ages, but for various reasons could not ttc.

Reality check please!!!

loueytbg · 08/09/2010 08:43

goodvibrations the one pg sign I have had both times I've been pg is the urge to eat. If I get it again, I think it will be a very good omen.

8rubberduckies · 08/09/2010 11:05

Welcome on board officially benignneglect! I remember on one bus recently they were making all passengers without a CD run behind the bus and pelting them with chocolates and cakes, so think yourself lucky you haven't been subjected to that kind of treatment for the last couple of weeks! Come and take a comfy seat at the back Smile

KnitterNotTwitter · 08/09/2010 12:03

Just thought I'd pop in and say hi... nothing exciting to report but I'm in a good mood and thought i'd share it

kat2504 · 08/09/2010 18:18

Knitter mmmm thankyou for the muffins yum yum. Glad you are having a nice day!

GoodVibrations · 08/09/2010 18:34

Louey ooooooh I will now continue to be a greedy cow eat for two just in case!!. Surely I wouldn't have symptoms this early though?

8rubberduckies · 08/09/2010 20:02

None left? Oh well, I have consumed my own body weight in sugar and fat in the last 2 days after all. It goes without saying that I crave cake and all other naughty things when AF shows up, but does anyone else get inexplicably starving when they have a cold? Even though you can't taste anything?

CD3.... ho hum, ho hum

MrsP81 · 08/09/2010 20:36

May I join this bus please? I left the May bus yesterday and have been sulking a little bit but now I am scoffing some chocolate. Would anyone care to share? :)

TTC#1 Cycle 5 UCL 30-35 CD2

ravenlocks · 08/09/2010 21:32

Welcome MrsP, I remember you fronm the May Bus. Hope you are ok, never good changing buses, but we are a supportive and friendly bus over here!

GoodVibrations loved your post! I have defo fallen out of love with symptom spotting after I realised I have loads of symps when not preg, just coz I think about them so much. Plus when I was pg - no symps.

ravenlocks · 08/09/2010 21:39

Ooh 8rubberduckies, hope trip to docs was ok. How you feeling bt it?

NervousNelly · 08/09/2010 23:16

8rubberduckies will join you in some thumb-twiddling Hmm. I'm on Day 11 so should be indulging in some serious action, but am working long hours and tired....

Must try harder. Thought in the meantime I'm going to just hang out in the bus wondering if anyone has tea to go with those cakes?

BenignNeglect · 08/09/2010 23:18

:) Shall I be mother?

Mmmmm. Caffeine.

With you on the thumb twiddling. First I was impatient for AF/CD1, now I'd like to jump ahead the next 9 days...

8rubberduckies · 09/09/2010 11:17

Hi all, I had to cancel my doctor's appt today as am really not getting over this cold and feel like pooh Sad. I have phoned in sick, ds is off at the childminders, so I am putting my feet up and catching up on reading all the weekend paper supplements which have been causing a paper drift in the corner of my living room!

I'm booked in again for 21st September, as the GP I need to see doesn't have any prebookable appointments til then, or I may call up and get a same-day apppointment one morning if I get too impatient. I kind of want to get the ball rolling really, as although I'm not too ancient (34), my age coupled with having PCOS means I don't want to leave it too long before completing my little family Smile. My partner wants a football team, but I'd be happy with 3 Smile.

Oh, I'd love a cup of tea benign, nice and strong no sugar, and here's some Jaffa cakes I very handily have stashed in my handbag to go with it. Perfect!

Wombat33 · 09/09/2010 12:08

Morning all. Tea and cake sounds great. OOh Jaffa cakes!!! Yummy!!

Bleeding seems to be easing off here (famous last words) and I feel slightly more sane than yesterday which I'm hoping is my hormones starting to settle down too. Also had a good long chat to an old friend last night who's had three MCs (and 2DCs) and she's always been told there's no medical reason not to get straight back on the bus as it were. So. I think I'm ready. When whoever does the stats next (sorry I'm hopeless at that sort of thing!) can you put me as CD4? Right that's good. I'm 4 days in already. Let's hope body plays ball and realises it has to get back into the swing of that ovulation thing again. Where did I put my ovulation sticks and thermometer....?

fatheadsgirl · 09/09/2010 12:49

Ooh am I too late for tea and cake?? Since I've missed the banana muffins...
Wombat I think it's a good idea to get back on the horse, so to speak. That's what we did. I think it helps to look forward.

Was up all night with DD as she is full of cold so we're all a bit knackered today. Trying to avoid the ironing (again) whilst DD has a sleep (alright for some) and DP is out.

fledtoscotland · 09/09/2010 21:50

Evening all. Cake sounds good!

Think this month of ttc may be out the window as GP thinks I have shingles. Really severe arm pain with no injury. Waiting to see if rash developes and if I need antivirals. Am POAS to see if ovulating whilst praying its "just" a trapped nerve.

GoodVibrations · 09/09/2010 22:37

Hello ladies, how are you all this evening?

I've had a rubbish night and have been very upset (work related). However, it has not stopped me continuing on my symptom spotting crusade......today's symptom........lots of twinges in my lower abdomen on the right hand side. It is obviously implantation cramps, as there is no other reasonable explanation in the whole world. And the very emotional state is clearly a symptom also, so hoorah!!

GoodVibrations · 09/09/2010 22:41

fled just read your post - shingles, oh no poor you.
