did the test at 5am, no line. took it apart to double check, then went bed.
noticed this morning there was a very faint one that i may not have been able to see in the dim bathroom at 5am Blush

its still there now.

so is it an evaporation line cos i took the test apart?

im cd29, so af was due yesterday and have quite bad nausea.

your probably gonna tell me to retest tomorrow but dh has banned me till tuesday :(

Yes, they can have evaporation lines, especially if you take them apart. You know what they say - read it in ten mins and throw it away. (I never do!)

If AF hasn't turned up on time and you are sure of ovulation, then it sounds good.

I hope you get your bfp!

yes,

I took one the other day, had a look at 5,10, 30 mins nothing there,

next moprning was a strong pink loking line,

a week later and I've tested again as AF still not come and negative, so it wefinatly an evap line on mine, and it was clear and looked pink - even DH said so!

BootyMum · 21/08/2010 14:48

This happened to me as well with FR test. Did test first thing in the morning and there was nothing there. Meant to throw it away but actually left it there for a few hours. Looked again later and there was an extremely faint line. Rang FR helpline and they said it was probably a positive test, unlikely to be an evaporation line. Test looked similar to Totoro's example above.
Am now 15 weeks pregnant!

You are supposed to disregard them after about 15 minutes, if its from days ago its an evap line.

TotorosOcarina · 22/08/2010 10:27

I'll take a photo f my evap line and post it ...

TotorosOcarina · 22/08/2010 10:29

shite sorry, its not here, i left it at my mums (the camera i mean!)

CharlottesClan · 22/08/2010 10:35

i know you are supposed to discard them.. lol

do you think its likely that ive got two evaporation lines, cd28 (afternoon) lighter then cd29 (FMU)?

maybe im looking too hard for reasons i could be pregnant.

I think so,

every pregnancy test I've ever taken has had a line a few days later!

even when def not PG!

CharlottesClan · 22/08/2010 10:43

ok :(
will keep you posted. restest on tuesday

ive taken too many tests and i know that 90% of them give a line if left for a while :(
