Negative, test, late, no AF, argghhh!

I was CD28 (my usual cycle) on the 12th of this month, as my cycle last month was 31 days I waited till Sunday 15th to test, negative.

I decided to just wait ... so I've been having AF cramps all week,

on Wednesday I have some pinky gunk so thought AF was starting (after sex) but nothing else ever came.

I just did a test, negative.

I'm a week +1 late now.

I wish AF would just come! :(

Sorry, I'm feeling so sorry for myself! I uually POAS everymorning and thought I was being so good waiting a whole week and was sure it would be + at 8 days late!

I've just got the blob (thank the bleedin lord) having done (a highly unusual) 40!!!!!day cycle.

Unlike yourself I had alternative anxieties and emotions to you as I DO NOT want another pregnancy.

Phew that was a close one........

oh dear toto, i bet this is soo confusing for you. dont know what it could be. maybe you ovulated later than you think and might still not have enough hormones to pick up yet. some women dont get posatives till after 10 days late. hope it comes out posative for you

I ovulated late with DD, on CD21 but I had a + by now even then! So I'm not hopeful,

But you never know!

Hello! I'm in a similar position. Have been having really long cycles of 38 days every month last 4 months. I'm day 43 today! Last tested on Wednesday but BFN? I guess it isn't over until Aunt Flow sings!

i ovulated so late with my 1st i actually had the period, i concieved 2 days before my period so cycle day 26 and i tested when i would have been around 4 weeks and it came neg. tested again 4 days after and the line was really really strong then. i think sometimes the hormones dont rage as much like with this preg they must have been raging as i tested posative 4 days before af was due, give it a few days. have you tried a sensative test

Have got DH to hide my other test till Monday morning if AF hasn't come, do you think thats an OK time or should I wait longer:?

it depends, it may be ok. what kind of test is it? just test and see what happens your af not arriving is a good sign. hope you get a posative x

Its just one of those cheapie sticks, the £1 shop ones!

I resent spending anymore when they don't turn positive

yea ive used them, there ok i used them with my 1st. there 25mul arnt they. maybe if that comes neg, try a predictor, there 12.5mul. good luck xx

I had this happen a couple of cycles ago. I was due on a Friday, didn't actually test until Sunday when I was 2 days late and was sooo convinced it was going to be a BFP and it wasn't (was a FR test too). It wasn't FMU but I thought by then the hormones would be so strong it wouldn't make a difference, so I tested on Monday with FMU, still no AF and BFN. My period actually came on that Friday, a whole week late, a 35 day cycle which has never happened before or since.

During that week I had googled and surfed to within an inch of my life and found a few examples of women who had been pregnant and not got a BPF for weeks and weeks and was convinced I was one of those.

In the end I put it down to the fact I ovulated much later than normal, possibly due to stress. There were a couple of stressful events happening to me around the middle of my cycle - nothing crazy - but possibly enough to mess up things a little.
