Hi Guys,

Bit of a strange one I think. First time Post. Posted to another thread in error.

I went on the Yasmin pill about 6 months ago for PMS.

My partner and I split up, and I was messing about with my pills, forgot to take a few as I wasn't having a sex life. Anyway to cut a long story short. The last pills I took, I took for too long (maybe 5 weeks rather than 3? - I have packets lying around everywhere and lost count) I came off them for my week break, during this week I had a tiny bleed but nothing like the usual period (on or off yasmin) I was waiting for a proper period, so didn't start taking my tablets again for about 10 days.

I started a new packet and as myself and my partner are back together I decided I should take them properly this time as we had resumed normal sexual activity, low and behold on the first day of us having sex, I noticed signs of ovulation.

Since then (Sun) I have been feeling very achy in the breast area, mainly nipples.

Surely if I was preg it would be too early to have any symptoms?

Or could it just be effects of the pill?

Please advise I am 37 mother of two and should know better!

Hi I am sure it could be the effects of the pill, but is Yasmin the mini pill? If so, my mum got pregnant on that.

Perhaps do a pg test to rule out?

IMO 37 is not old though!
