I do!
I'm one day late I think- my af are a little irregular but never much more than 35 days since ds arrived. I'm on cd36 today.
Symptom spottig craziness has included feeling dizzy yesterday afternoon and feeling a little queasy for the last few mornings and sometimes when I get up in the night with ds.

Who else is trying not to put their crazy hat on?

I'm trying to avoid poas till the weekend.

Oh and I've put on weight in the last week- but that might be delayed effects of holiday eating! Grin

Hello, can I join you? Bit of a lurker on this board, one DS and 2 (v early) MCs since... have been on a break from TTC for a few months to sort cycles but went for it this month. Now on CD 28 of what is usually a 28 day cycle, refusing to test unless AF doesn't show. Don't really feel at all pregnant other that slightly sore (.)(.), but think I get this every month, pg or not. Temps still slightly high but nothing to give me too much hope. Have had AF-type cramps since yesterday, although normally would only get these for an hour or so before AF arrives. Determined not to test until at least Sunday (in reality suspect AF will be here by then)not least because I just can't justify giving any more of our money to the First Response / Clearblue people!

mrsflux · 19/08/2010 09:24

Hello grumpy!

Sorry to hear you've had a couple of early mc. Hope things are more positive for you this time!
I've only got a couple of cheap boots own brand tests at home. They say they're good from first day of missed af. Just hoping the longer I leave it the better my chances are.

Am taking ds off to zoo to try anddiatract me from my crazy symptom spotting tendencies!

OP posts:
GrumpyFish · 19/08/2010 09:56

I have no tests in the house as can't resist at all if they are here. Have just read back my earlier post... so much for not symptom spotting! Also off out for the day with DS, hopefully will distract a bit! Enjoy zoo.

mrsflux · 19/08/2010 10:43

Oh poo! Have some crampy pains.

:(

OP posts:
PinkyMe · 20/08/2010 07:24

I am failing miserably at this. I've spent a fortune on tests and with every negative I get, I get a bit more resigned to all these symptoms just being a fluke.

GrumpyFish · 20/08/2010 07:41

Morning all. I have crampy pains too. Have now had them for 3 days though, still no AF. No real pg symptoms (not that I am symptom spotting!!), no AF yet either (due today). Temps have gone a little higher though.... but that could be the bed socks I wore last night, or the 3 am wake up by DS. Have a fun day of not obsessing!! Suspect I'll be out by this evening anyway.

mrsflux · 20/08/2010 08:25

Crampy pains off and on. :(
Felt very emotional when stupid men shouting at their kids at zoo woke ds after only 20 min nap! Angry
bit queasy but could be in my head.

Fed up waiting. Might test soon just to put me out of my misery [frustrated] need Biscuit

OP posts:
PinkyMe · 20/08/2010 14:09

horrible indigestion today. Only symptom, unless I count the tiredness (didn't have much sleep) and faint queasiness (may be in my head).

GrumpyFish · 20/08/2010 14:35

I've had indigestion before when pg Pinky! I am almost completely symptom free if I am honest. I have always known I was pg the 3 previous times long before AF was due, so I just can't see it having happened for us this month. Wishing AF would show up and put me out of my misery before I crack and waste more cask on tests!!

GrumpyFish · 20/08/2010 14:36

cask = cash!

mrsflux · 20/08/2010 20:23

I had some light spotting last night andthought it was game over. Continued off and on today. Not getting any heavier yet.
Usually spotting to af is about12h.

So now I'm proper confused! Will be testing tomorrow morning if af hasn't arrived as I'm sick of not knowing.

(will still be gutted if I'm not pg!)

GrumpyFish · 20/08/2010 20:55

Let us know how you get on tomorrow mrsflux. No change with me really, still no AF, if not turned up by tomorrow will consider officially late. Is win-win really for me, either am pg (feel this is unlikely) or have achieved my longest luteal phase (12 days so far) since I put all of my efforts into improving it. Oddly don't feel like testing though, pretty much sure it would be negative.

mrsflux · 20/08/2010 21:02

grumpy - I was like that first time! Was so fed up with stupid body not working (was prescribed metformin) but dh persuaded me to test before I started taking it. When the 3 mins were up dh asked if I wanted him to go look too- I said "it won't be anything interesting!"

Hang on in there!

mrsflux · 21/08/2010 07:42

Well spotting sort of stopped. Felt queasy so tested.

BFP! :):):)

OMG! Have put dates into a due dare calculator and it's 28th April. So there would be 2 years and 1 month between ds and dc2.

I'm now in shock!

OP posts:
GrumpyFish · 21/08/2010 08:07

Yay mrsflux! Hope the shock has subsided a little!

I am still here, still no AF. Have been feeling a little tired and nauseous but not been sleeping well so that would explain that. Now 13 DPO and temps have risen consistently every day since 8 DPO, but overall I still don't feel pg.

Will test tomorrow or Monday if still no AF. Hope you are now having a celebratory herbal tea mrsf!! Grin. Thanks by the way for your post yesterday evening that has given me a little bit of hope!

mrsflux · 21/08/2010 08:20

I'm not sure I really feel pg either! Anything I'm feeling could be put down to normal af hormones or lack of sleep.

Will be keeping my fingers crossed!

PinkyMe · 21/08/2010 11:56

Congratulations Mrsflux. Great news.

More cramps. They went away for a few days but seem to be back and indigestion is awful. I woke up with it today. Just had some Gaviscon to try to settle it.
Still neg on the tests though Sad

hairytriangle · 21/08/2010 15:25

I need distracting! I'm in cd 22!

GrumpyFish · 21/08/2010 16:04

Hello hairy, do I remember you from the recurrent MC thread a while back? That's a few days of distracting to go for you then.... I'm just plain confused today, only thing to suggest might be pg is missing AF and high temps (unless an itchy belly button is a pg sign?!), none of my "usual" pg symptoms.... Am personally looking forward to being distracted by X-Factor later on, nothing like no-brain telly!

GrumpyFish · 21/08/2010 16:05

Pinky also meant to say, sorry about your neg tests, that is confusing. Hope you get it resolved one way or another soon. Are you totally sure of when you ov'd and usual luteal phase length?

hairytriangle · 21/08/2010 17:05

Hi Grumpy yes, it's me although I've been lucky to only have one so far LOL .

I am really trying not to see symptoms but I can't help it! I can do a first response tomorrow, but I'm really not sure if I should. 'symptoms' so far include spots on boobs Confused and very sore nipples (and I can't remember if I usually get that this long after ovulation) - as well as feeling slightly nauseaous and quite tired. I had an unbelievable craving for fried chicken earlier, and when I ate it it tasted super salty! (although that could just be that I'm greedy of course!)

GrumpyFish · 22/08/2010 09:42

Did you test hairy? your symptoms sound quite promising, but it's really early - maybe better to hold off a few days? Agree though that not symptom spotting is impossible, the best I could ever manage was setting a test date a few days down the line and not testing till then, but it has never stopped me obsessing over every twinge.

I have again woken up to sky-rocketing temps, am exhausted (although not been sleeping too well due to needing to get up to pee loads!) and feeling a little nauseous. AF is at least 2 days late. DH and DS have been sent to Tesco to pick up a test, am 14 DPO so thinking that if +ive it should show by now, even if not FMU... wish me luck! Might not be back here until this evening, have loads on today (but just want to sleep...).

GrumpyFish · 22/08/2010 10:49

[smiley]
sitting here looking at 2 lovely pink lines on a Tesco test. There was an obvious second line almost the moment the pee hit the stick... hoping this is a good sign because with the un-sticky ones I have had much fainter lines (squinty / hold up to light) even with FMU. Everything crossed that this one's a stayer...
