early ovulation

Have just read an article (online)that says only 30% of women actually ovulate around 14 days before the next period is due.
Is this old news? I was only looking because I think I am ovulating and it is only 9 days since the start of my last period. And I was thinking I probably am not ovulating but actually I am now thinking perhaps I am!!

i knew that ovulation didnt have to occur in the middle of cycle, as my ds was concieved 2 days before period was due. and i had a mc last year, and was concieved at the end of my period. just found out im expecting again not sure when this one was concieved yet, but as i got a posative test 3 days early on not an even sensative test im thinking it might have been early on in my cycle and not the middle. it is all very strange

it's old news. Women on average ovulate on around the 14th day. However, there is great variety in when people ovulate - anywhere between day 7 and day 25, I've heard.

Yes - that is definitely known. But is kind of exhausting to think about - I've not figured the EWCM, and OPK aren't meant to be used with PCOS, so that leaves SWI from day 7 to 25. Hence exhausted!!
