Hi first time on Mumsnet! Have been TTC for the past two years. Had fertility investigations which showed that me and DH are fine and apparently fertile. Taking clomid went for a scan on day 11 which showed 3 follicles so have to go back for a scan on day 15 incase there are too many then they will lower my dose of Clomid. Do we get busy or do we wait for scan. I have fertile cervical fluid today-what to do????? Scared of multiple pregnancies!

Hi Plumblusher

I'm also new to Mumsnet and TTC for past 18 months. I'm on Clomid 3rd month. I had scans on the first round and now have been left to my own devices. Have to go for a blood test on Day 21 of this month to check ovulated. Day 17 today so fingers crossed! When I was being scanned on the first round, the nurse told me when we should "get to it"! I'm now tracking temp and doing the ovulation sticks...I know more about my body now than I ever have!

Thank you so much for replying! went for my second follicle tracking scan today and have to go for blood test on day 21 to make sure I've ovulated. Nurse said more or less the same to me about the clomid being the right dose and to carry on taking it for six months. It looks like this time I released an egg from both ovaries so the way I look at it it's double the chance of getting pg! I have a really good book called Taking Charge of your Fertility-helped me understand my body and conceive my DD! Do you have any side effects from the clomid? I seem to be a lot hungrier!!!!
